My 9yr old aspie son has just started playing this game. We have the anthology.
He can do stuff that my nearly 19yr old son can't.
Does anyone else here play this game? Any tips for him?

I bought him Star Craft at the same time, he doesn't like this, he says it's kinda boring, I bought it on recommendations from WP members.

My cousin and I still play Dawn of War every now and again.

Advice well, play the Dark Crusade expansion pack, fully patched.
It has almost all the series' features and it's pretty much bugfree.
Play the last Soulstorm expansion pack and you'll run into a lot of bugs.

My cousin and I both play Space Marines on the Datarius Pits vs 6 insane Ork AIs.
It takes a lot of time to learn and eventually master it, but it can be done :D

starcraft is different then Dawn of war and Dawn of war has more races especial if you add the new expansion with the dark eldar ...

it takes away to get resources in starcraft but you can cheat ofc then then he get not easy bored

in dawn of war you have to take control points to get resources
and upgrade them

I have played both Dawn of War & Starcraft

Dawn of war is designed to eliminate resource gathering (gathering & holding control points allows the player to focus on battles)

Starcraft is the standard RTS game but each of the three races play differently but with cheat codes Starcraft can run out of steam (that is until starcraft II comes out)
