VGA game videos! New games!

Lots of good new games debuting this year. My personal favorite is Spec Ops: The Line. Video shows lots of promise, but I don't know if it can be done with 30+ fps. True Crime and Medal of Honor are getting reinvented on this generation of consoles and hardware as well. I like both of their new videos. The rest is up for grabs. I learned of a new Star Wars game as well that is not Battlefront 3 or Force Unleashed 2. Apparently there is a game called Star Wars: Legends coming as well as those two. I know unrelated to this, but I hope its good. I hope it falls back into the Jedi Knight style gameplay that is so popular among true Star Wars fans. Lots of awesome videos though. SW Legends and Battlefront 3 didn't show up though. Force Unleashed 2 did. There is also Batman:AA 2, UFC 2010, TRON, Reach, Crackdown 2, and a few others.

Star Wars Legends? No chance of a Tie Fighter remake?!? That would probably be the best news of the millennium. Even an X-Wing remake would stand as best news of the decade...

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the new True Crime trailer. I really enjoyed the first True Crime, so I'm really looking forward to it.

I was quite bummed out about The Force Unleashed 2. When I first heard of a Star Wars game being teased at the VGAs, I was hoping it would be something like Jedi Knight 3. Didn't care for Force Unleashed, so I'm not interested in it.

Well noone knows what Star Wars Legends really is right now. It could be a X-Wing vs. Tie fighter type of game. It got a 18+ mature rating from Australia ratings board. Nothing has been said about the game though. I hope one day there is a revolutionary new X-wing vs. Tie type of game made.

I was hoping for a Jedi Knight 3 game as well Le_Samourai. Unfortunately I don't see one just yet. If Legends turns out to be what I expect it to be it could be a spiritual successor to Jedi Knight series. Its patent was filled in Mid 2008 so its been 2 years of work on the game with no trailer or details at all shown. Its possible we might see it at E3 2010 or something.

Also according to what I read on the internet Battlefront 3 is still possible to get a 2010 release. I am doubtful that Battlefront 3 will make 2010 release, but its still possible. 2011 is more likely though.

Being an extreme star wars fan and the fact that Galen Marek(the protagonist of the Force Unleashed) is one of my favorite characters in the entire Star Wars franchise, I was both happy and puzzled about TFU2. Lucasarts has given up on it's fans and only cares about hatching schemes to make money so probably Star Wars Legends is unrelated to the old games and is destined to bomb. But if not, I will seriously break down in tears of joy if it is Jedi Knight 4(Jedi Academy is #3, you guys seemed to miss that. But then again, Jedi Academy was like an expansion.). A new Rogue Squadron or X-Win/Tie Fighter would be good too, but seeing as Halo and Call of Duty are invisible, A Republic Commando 2 would be impossible(plus, Karen Traviss, who fleshed out the Republic Commandoes said that George Lucas retconned much of the continuity surrounding Republic Commandoes and thus screwed over any chance at a sequel).

But anyways, I hope Star Wars Legends doesn't end up like Lethal Alliance, Renegade Squadron, Elite Squadron, and The Force Unleashed in terms of quality. But being so devoted to Star Wars, I'd probably still buy it like all the aforementioned games ^_^

I really hope a new X-wing vs Tie fighter could be made with the new technology that we have with amazing graphics and gameplay. I also want a new Wing Commander game and have wanted it for 10 years! The Spec Ops game looks awesome! I was completely surprised by that video. I hope that was ingame and not fake CG crap. The Medal of Honor game looks cool as well, especially the helicopter parts. I have to upgrade my computer hopefully by Feb 2011. My computer is old (2007) and got it because of Crysis. Crysis 2 comes out either the end of 2010 or 2011. I am a computer gamer even though I have all the consoles. I watched the VGA's and agree that Uncharted 2 is game of the year I watched my brother play it (like I said we have all the consoles but since I suck at them I just watch) and it was like watching a movie! Even though I loved Modern Warfare 2, the game was way too short (less than 5 hours for campaign and I beat it in 1 day) and the lack of dedicated servers made this game get shot down.
