I am a pretty big fan of the Halo series aswell, I also have the stratagey guide, and I think I am fairly skilled, so what exactly are you asking. If you mean weapon combinations to have that are marine, then I would personaly say Assault rifle and sniper, but it depends on personal skill, situation, and what affinities you have for certain weapons. Like I have kind of a tendency to get cut up with ammo reservation, so I dont usualy use a lot of the weapons that chew ammo up quik, but still in multiplayer I am quite good at get enemies with a spartin laser.

well the best dual-weild combo by far for multiplayer are plasma rifles, because of the rate of fire, and also the covvie's weapons tear through people's sheilds, also dual plasma riles is is still slightly original because everyone accually think they suck, but if you're after one marine weapon for accuracy and power i'd reccommend the spartan laser (correct spelling).

Plasma rifles may have an advantage against shields, but they also have that exact same weakness against armour. One problem I find is that by the time you have surprised them with the plasma rifles, our oponent takes advantage of the lack of control ou have and chaos to make it hard for ou to hit and thus makeing it quite hard to make the final kill. A good dual wield would be a SMG and Plasma pistol, preferbly the pistol in the right arm as you can throw it away after you have taken out your oponents shields or paralised their vehicle, and not a lot of people notice actualy how good the single SMG is. Especialy in certain levels no one will go after the SMG which is a big mistake especially in fairly small areas as it can be stronger thenan assault rifle, easily mowing down anyone without shields, though uses clip up fast, though a single SMG has one of the fastest reloads. With just a single SMG a bit of skill and knowing how to and when to attack I can take out multiple enemies, even being good to still others kills.

That is a good combo, it is quite useful in Vahala, where enemies use warthogs, banshees and Wraiths. be warned that the turet can still be used in a frozen warthog, and a wraith can shoot in front of it, so it is best to get in behind it, or the side.

If a team is understocked and cant use anough people for the wriaths plasma "Subturret" then it could be effective. :P
