Is anybody else as excited as I am about Guitar Hero: Metallica? I don't think I can wait until March! I just got Guitar Hero World Tour so I'll be ready with the best instruments for the game. :) Still have to get a 2nd drum pedal, though.

I've already got enough money saved up for it.

I'll be pretty bummed if Jason and especially Cliff aren't in it, though =/

Kind of funny, I'm assuming since Death Magnetic DLC is integratable, that the game won't come with any of those songs already on it, so there won't actually be any songs that Rob played on in the game.

Yeah, I was just thinking that it would be cool if they both were at least available as unlockable characters.
As far as Death Magnetic, the game will detect the songs from Guitar Hero 3/World Tour and automatically integrate them into your set list, if you bought them. :) I don't know if any songs from it will be available as part of the game's standard set list, but it would be weird for them not to include anything.
Have you heard about the "Expert Plus" mode for the drums? I'm VERY excited about that and I am so getting the 2nd bass pedal. Although I'm still playing on Medium right now... lol Gotta practice!

Yeah, that's what I meant. With the exception of the portable DS games, they tend not to include songs in more than one game...though Rock Band has double-dipped a few times, with songs from previous games, and songs that were covers previously. Not sure about the Wii version though, according to Wikipedia, most of the Death Magnetic songs aren't available for DLC on the Wii, because of some sort of licensing thing *shrugs*

Heard about expert plus, but I have enough trouble with just one foot pedal :x Still trying to get good at hard mode, so it'll definitely be a while before I'm tempted to get another foot pedal (heck, it'll probably be a while before I can afford the drum controller) :x

Which drum kit do you have? I just got the World Tour kit.

We have the Rock Band one, but I don't practice it very much...the Wii version of Rock Band is kind of lame =/ So I mostly just play at my friends' house.

Can't believe there's no Sabbath =/

But it could be a tentative list...the list for On Tour changed several times before release.

I hope they rerecord No Leaf Clover...I love that song, but I'm really getting tired of the S&M version.

I love S&M. I actually wish they would make some live tracks available as DLC. Metallica is one of the few bands that sound even better live, IMHO.

I had the same problem. To spell out names and stuff, I had to keep hitting down while saying the alphabet until I got to the letter I needed. I finally broke down and got an HDTV this weekend. Looks gorgeous now.

I can't wait for this game! Too bad I have a Wii, which means I can't get the game until Early May.

Those arn't hair metal. And Neither Jason or Cliff will be in, they didn't want to make Rob feel like he wasn't an important part of the band. Although you can get unlockable skins for the rest to represent them at different periods of their carrer.

It's confirmed that there is no Cliff? I thought they would have him in there as an unlockable, especially given the inclusion of Orion in the track list (which was played at his funeral).
