I decided to revisit Vanguard, when it first came out it was pretty buggy and I lost interest because of it.
Being bored with WoW & EQ2, I decided to give Vanguard a try again. Did the free trial thing for a few days and decided to sign up for a bit. I am an old EQ person and the creators of Vanguard is the same crew that made the original EQ. So it's basically EQ on steroids.
The game is for hardcore quests and crafting people. You can make your own home and sailing ship from scratch. Trees fall when you harvest them. Character creation gets down to details such as jaw width, hand size, and breast lift. You get your 1st mount at lvl 6, plus you can rent flying mounts until you can afford one.
The game world is made up of 'chunks' set like a grid, so there are no real zone lines. The graphics are very good (a little demanding at times).
Anyhow I am on the Seradon Server. My main is a cleric name Inkama, I also created a girl for the starting island named Sanhaim (Necromancer). Only been in the game a week so I am not rich & powerful yet.
