I really can't stand Halo 3 or Gears of War...

Maybe it's just because everybody else likes them and I just can't find whats so good about them. I think I prefer Halo, I mean I finished that, but got bored of both Gears of War(s?) around level 3 or 4.

cant think of any other game at moment, but bet if was at sisters and went through her collection would have a few ideas.

I don't like puzzle games or platformers like Ratchet & Clank. I got a PSP for christmas and it came with "Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters." Parts of it were such a pain I spent days on one level. I got 95% through the game and got stuck.
Shooters I like. They're an outlet for my violent frustrated imagination. I haven't played Halo 3 or Gears- I don't have a xbox360. I played the first Halo games. I liked the story, but as a shooter it wasn't really violent enough for me.

The only third person shooter I like is the 3D GTA series. I can't stand RPG or other games like that, including The Sims, etc.

I think platformers should always be simple and quirky. A difficult platformer is just dumb in my opinion.

I also am one of the few that does not like the Halo series. My family loves them, but I don't get what's special about them at all. I also hate strategy games and sports games. There's only a few racing games I like.

I couldn't get into Bioshock. I did eventually finish it, through several short sessions of forcing myself through the game. I enjoyed the parts that the game is often praised for, like the setting and characters, story and atmosphere. But I found the gameplay really lacking and neither the shooter or RPG aspect of it appealed to me. The constant interruptions to gameplay with Pipe Dream minigames were a real irritant for me. The camera research mechanic felt really contrived, and detracted from the atmosphere. When three splicers come at me and the first thing I do is think hmm, another Kodak moment! - it serves only to remind you that this is indeed just a videogame.

I also did not like Fallout 3. I found the opening interesting, far more so than Oblivion's opening. But as soon as you leave that vault there's not a single character in the game that I give a toss about, everyone is dull and feels lifeless. The gameplay is repetitive and consists of repeatedly using VATS to take shots then either taking cover while AP rebuilds or finishing them off manually. The interface somehow manages to be even worse than Oblivion's. Moreover, the entire game feels like a mod of Oblivion. Like that game, the world is really bland and never really piques my interest. I think I'll stay away from Bethesda games from now on, I don't find them fun, and to me they're a far cry from anything Bioware has ever put out.

I LOVE the GTA series. There is so much violent stuff you can do that is so much fun. Doing stuff in real life would be totally wrong, but I've spent hours blowing up ambulances, setting fire to fire trucks, shooting up the mall. It's so much fun to do your own stuff it took me forever to finish San Andreas.

Virtually any RTS game. The only I like is aoe2 other than that I've never come across one that I like. I also don't like baldur's gate style RPG's. They bore me to tears.

Now I think about it, I don't like GTA4 either.
GTA3 was good, but Saints row is more fun for me.
(250 hours on the 1st one. hehe)

Well I don't like sport games (lack of interest in sports already), racing games (only ones I have liked have included shooting cartoon weapons at each other, or Podracing), whenever a singstar or eyetoy is being played I always get headaches and I guess a lot of RTS get me confused, my strategy of long term battles often fail, and I find it hard to do a bunch of things at once.

Can't really stand RTS, though there's a few turn based games I like (X-COM), and I kind of liked the first WarCraft enough to finish it (I think I cheated though).

Don't like most sports games, but there's a few that are kind of fun...Baseball Simulator 2.000 for SNES was awesome. Same with racing games, I usually only like them if they let you blow things up. Mario Kart, Carmageddon, stuff like that (though Carma gets a bit samey after a while).

Couldn't get into any of the Final Fantasy games after VII came out.

Tried playing Chrono Trigger once, but I couldn't get very far until I got distracted by some other game.

Never could get into the GTA games. I played the first one a lot when the demo came out, but mostly I just goofed around and killed people...got bored of that and tried to actually play the game, and I thought the missions were lame.

Never really liked Halo that much. After playing it on a PC (with the FOV increased) I've kind of come to appreciate some of the combat aspects of it, but I still think the whole "get hurt, hide somewhere, regen" thing is stupid. And the weapons are stupid unbalanced. And all the levels look exactly the same. And...uh...I could go on and on, but I'll spare you :x

I cant stand linear games. I cant understand how i actually paid for them earlier.

I just need to be able to go do whatever i want in the game, like Fallout 3 or Oblivion. Same thing with GTA and test Drive Unlimited, just drive around as much as i like and listen to music.

I only just came up with this, but after some thought I believe I don't get much enjoyment from open world games. I've played several of them, including the GTA series, Fallout 3, Oblivion and Far Cry 2, and I just think with open world gameplay there's too much fluffing around getting to the fun bits, journeying to objectives. There's often also a feeling of aimlessness in the games. I much prefer games that allow some divergence from the beaten path, but are mostly linear, such as Legend of Zelda, the Baldur's Gate series, Final Fantasy and Call of Duty.

Games I have that I just couldn't get into:

- Final Fantasy IV (for DS)
- Gran Turismo 3
- Resident Evil

At this point, the only games that catch my interest are the ones from the Shin Megami Tensei series.

movie license games all of them are rubbish and you need to have seen the movie otherwise it gives you some of the plotline and spoilers which are annoying.
