He said that the act of sex should "be as simple and unimportant as drinking a glass of water." (As a side note, I wonder if that's where the expression "He's a tall drink of water!" comes from. :?: )

Agree or disagree with Lenin's view of sex?

can i get more context than that? does he mean that personally sex should have no more than minimal impact on a person or that sex, to society, should have no sway power.

basically, is he saying that everyone should just screw around and not be attached or is he saying that it's not a big deal that janet jackson's milk bag was hanging out in public for a few seconds.

You should at least be as cautious as you would be when drinking Mexican water when it comes to STDs.

I think you're taking it out of context. People like fizzy water, imported water, mineral water, bottled water, ice water, warm water, water with lime, etc. I think that's what he was referring to. Plus you should get water (sex) for free at restaurants.

Why would I make a fake account to post in threads comparing drinking water to sex?

Give me one good reason to keep this thread in the Politics, Philosophy, and Religion forum.

1. Lenin was a politician.
2. Morality and Ethics of Sexuality is a large topic within Philosophy.
3. Lenins statement can be construed as a criticism of sexuality as described by Christianity and other Abrahamic religions.

In summary it fulfills all three requirements.

My respect for you just went up three notches. :) I'll leave it here so long as it stays clean.
