Why Are People Stealing Baby Jayzus?

All over - the little plastic jayzus is being ripped off. There are reports that bacon was left in its place. Now some officials are considering putting in GPS tracking devices to locate the little bitty plastic baby in case someone runs off with another one.

Any ideas what the attraction is? Do people collect them? Sold on ebay?

Note that bacon is left it it's place. I think it is a bunch of cheeky bastards trying to be offensive.

Granted, but who are they trying to offend?

Which is more offensive to Jewish people - Jesus or Bacon?

I don't understand how the switchover would necessarily be more offensive that just taking the baby?

In my town, 2 baby jesus' were stolen and replaced with pig heads.
