Let's see. . in the War of my Youth, it was godless communism that was behind suicide attacks, and then the War of my Uncle's Youth. . it was the Japanese (Shinto?) that drove the airplanes into the ships.

I guess when death is better than life, you will get people that will do anything for anything.

The communists were more forced by their superiors than by personal belief. This is illustrated in the movie "Enemy at the Gates". They very much didn't want to die!

The Japanese however, believed their emperor to be a god. It was very much a religious belief in the case of their suicide attacks.

I am an extreme Christian in that I am passionate about knowing and serving Christ and doing my best to please him

I am NOT an extreme Christian in that I would outlaw homosexuality, abortion etc and require that everyone be a Christian. I think homosexuality, abortion, and pre-marital sex are wrong, but it's NOT the government's business what one chooses to do with their body. I am also not going to shun someone because they are gay, had an abortion, or had pre-marital sex.

I have little use for the "Christians" that force their religion down other's throats and would have morals be law. They are clearly not following the Bible and do not know Christ. I myself have had bad experience with such Christians and the legalistic ones, so I understand why people whose only experience with Christianity is with those nuts would hate it.

Christianity is all about a relationship with Christ. I don't even want to think what my life would be if I didn't have a relationship with Christ and the hope of spending eternity with him.

That passage from Leviticus is meant to condemn the sin, but never the sinner. In this case, the physical act of buggery is a sin and thus condemned. Those who practise buggery are not condemned on account of who they are as human beings.

Is this so hard to understand???
