No, I will not fix it.
"No one is ever in control" has many meanings. You can interpret it anyway you want and wont be wrong.
I started this thread with Nazism in mind. I'm not advocating anything to be done on the current situation, but to be complacent when the government and its soldiers are completely wrong is not the right thing to do. Saying "I support them, but not the war" is just washing your hands from the situation.

So if you weren't implying that we were being nazis, then what?

Why wouldn't you agree with the movments? Whats wrong with people doing things to fix there gov't?
And people aren't going to be ready to march on any capitals for at least another year or two....
Unless congress passes that bill that will raise gas prices again. That being the case, the independent truckers will be the first ones to start the riot.

I never said they were. I said it comes across complacent.

Yes there are consequences. I am not denying that. BUT if something is completely unacceptable, the people should be willing to fight the government (to their best abilities). I am not asking the people to do that in this situation. Frankly, the Iraq was was not what I had in mind.
Really?
What flame war?
This is the Internet. The Nazis are always involved in the discussion.
I just caught your edit, Where did I accuse anyone of being a Nazi? That's a low ninja edit.

You could also look up the real i.d. act, bill hr1955 and learn more about what the patriot act really does.

little side-track for you...did you know that the nazis actually helped israel indirectly? amin al husseini was a muslim leader and personal assistant to hitler and his muslim sect of troops. after world war II, amin kept going with his plans...this included buying and shipping in muslim fighters for the 1948 arab-israeli war (many of whom claimed to represent palestine but actual figures are hard to find). so essentially, in acting from egypt independently of the palestinian government and acting in the name of his hate of jews and his adherence to his nazi friends, he helped israel grab MORE land in the area with the victory over the various arab countries (though palestine was never officially involved, israel took their land anyways).

Great. Although I don't agree with any of the movements, I appreciate the fact that people are doing something.
Like I posted in my above comments, I had complacency in mind, washing one's hands of crimes or of personal beliefs. I didn't specify it because I'd rather have it become an active thread. Sadly, people didn't pick up on the ambiguities of my title.

First, I knew you were joking.
No. I purposely made this thread ambiguous. Yet, I had Nazism in mind, that is where the soldiers were forced to wage an unthinkable war and people back at home just supported them without question. This however does not mean I'm calling you a Nazi, considering that not all of the Germans were Nazis.

I didn't click all the links, but I assumed they were anti-Iraq war. Am I wrong?

I don't know Arabic, as I stated previously. When you post in a language I don't know, I will usually ask for a translation. It seems like a perfectly reasonable question to me, and I'm not sure why I am apparently being mocked for asking.
