I agree that left brained aspies get diagnosed more than the right brained types. I also think empathy plays a key role. If a person can empathize, he/she can alter their behavior and not appear to be too different. I think females tend to be right brainers much more so than males. I am so empathetic that I'd say I'm an empath. I wonder if there are other people like this who learn to shut it down because it bombards the senses.

My hair is always a mess too.

Mine is a natural style..... you might call it.... wind-swept.

Occasionally I have to use a brush.. to remove the mice that are nesting in it..

You appear well groomed though.

But then we haven't seen one of your.. "first thing in the morning" pics......... yet.

;-)

"I have reached an age where, if someone tells me to wear socks, I don't have to."

Apparently Einstein was not a big fan of socks. Maybe he just hated clothes shopping, though. I wouldn't blame him.

 I think he just really hated socks. I never could wear them either.

I love fluffy socks in the winter. All my shoes are slip on sandals or clogs. I like the openness of those shoes. If it's cold I'll wear my fluffy socks with sandals. Yes, I know...Who cares...gosh

Reading of Einstein’s disdain for suspenders and love of long hair inspired me to form my own long hair into twin braids which I tie to my belt to keep up my pants. This solves both problems wonderfully unless I contract diarrhea which can cause problems of expediency. – Harold Lohirinne
