I was watching TV and it showed President Bush and Prime Minister Blair having a conversation regarding the situation in Lebanon. Bush told Blair something like "the Syrians need to rein in Hezbollah and keep this s**t from happening again."

BTW, this was the second cuss word in one year that was attributed to a politician from Texas. Last year, Governor Rick Perry was in an interview regarding education reform. And Perry had an attitude. The interview ended, but the camera kept on rolling. Gov. Perry told the cameraman, "Adios, Mofo".

I am so proud of my president and governor.

However, I am voting for Kinky Friedman for governor, for unrelated reasons.

Oh I don't know I think President Putin laid down the law with bush the other day was by far the funniest thing ive heard in ages before this broke out.

went along the lines of

Quote:
After that jarring meeting, Bush concluded that lecturing Putin in public was unproductive. Still, Bush said he offered Putin some suggestions.

“I talked about my desire to promote institutional change in parts of the world like Iraq where there’s a free press and free religion,” Bush said at the news conference, “and I told him that a lot of people in our country would hope that Russia would do the same thing.”

Putin, in a barbed reply, said: “We certainly would not want to have the same kind of democracy as they have in Iraq, I will tell you quite honestly.” Bush’s face reddened as he tried to laugh off the remark. “Just wait,” Bush replied about Iraq.

Putin also said Russia would not take part “in any crusades, in any holy alliances” — a remark seemingly intended to win points with Arab allies. Bush’s national security adviser, Stephen Hadley, said he was perplexed by the comment.

Funny as f**k!

I don't care that he said that. It's funny, but I have little reason to believe that any of these leaders of nations don't speak that way on a regular basis. They are usually smart enough to not get caught on the record, but I suspect they use those words behind closed doors everyday.

I saw that on "World News Tonight" with Charlie Gibson. That was unbelievable!

Now that I think about it, it was no surprise that he swore. I don't like President Bush! I'm just glad his term is up for his presidency in two years!

Bush should've pointed out that Putin's hardly qualified to talk about democracy, seeing as he's rolled Russia's civil rights back to near the USSR level.

Considering the behavioural patterns of him and our administration, do you really think we should have any reason to believe Dubya really gives a damn about human rights? Katrina incident anyway? Guantonamo? Abu Ghraib?

I'd like to see you show me how anything Bush has done even compares to Putin.

Katrina incident: Are you claiming that Bush deliberately allowed it to happen? I think Barrak Obama put it best. "There was no deliberation there. It's simply that people making the plans failed to take into account that not everyone living in New Orleans could load up their SUV with 100 bottles of water and move out of town indefinitely". Did Bush screw up majorly? Yes. Did he have evil intent with it? NO.

Abu Ghraib/Guantanamo: Inexcusable, but how is Bush responsible for what happened? If anyone in the government was responsible for Abu Ghraib, it was Donald Rumsfeld, but the responsibility probably lies on mid-ranking generals. As for Guantanamo, haven't most of the worst violations of human rights been found to be wildly exaggurated stories if not outright lies?

I still can't get over that! I am old enough to vote and I am glad that George W. Bush's term will be up in office in 2008!

Good luck! Make sure you vote for your next republican.

News broadcast on President Bush was a attack to make him change his opinion about Israel. Why would a nosey camera man would like to hand it to the broadcast show? I called this tattle tales. President Bush appeared to be relaxed but more up in his mind than about his sweater gift. He couldn't possible ignore Lebanon because they have been getting support from Iran. Iran can just hand a weapon to someone and step back to say "I didn't do it".
