I don't think the Labor Theory of Value is completely correct - obviously, people have their own subjective notions of value, but if we left it at that, then it would suggest that nobody could ever get ripped off or scammed, which is obviously not the case. The value of something seems to depend on both the cost or labor required to supply it, and the demand for it, which suggests a combination of the two theories.
Either way, it suggests to me that workers, indeed, are being scammed by the capitalists they work for.
This thread is nine years old. The guy above your post (an arch conservative who often dominated dialogue on the PPR back then- and maybe giving you a slanted view of the views of WP members) stopped posting years ago, and has probably passed away. Just so you know.
