Thats right.
I'm overwhelmed by the mysteries of life, I feel divinity in the dynamics of all things.. I don't need to credit this to a concious being..
However I can definately respect those that find solace in such thoughts..
Ultimately, believe what you want to believe, but accept that some people turn faith inwards, in order to give and receive outwards in reality.
Turning faith outwards usually seems to result in giving and receiving being internalised, which tends to (not always, no generalising here) result in "believe or you're going to hell" and other such nonsense.
I don't actually care about the possibility of an afterlife (I'll withhold my thoughts that it can be logically eliminated) I have too much to do in this life.
One may see the bible as a book of metaphors, another may see it as the word of god..
One may be wrong, one may be right, but faith eliminates the ability to question does it not? You can't challenge someone that believes in something because the essence of belief defies reason.
