I'm an atheist but I'm not militant about it unless provoked.

I am an atheist, but I only bring it to bear if someone puts me on the defensive about religion. Or, if I'm bored, I'll see if there are screaming preachers on campus outside the student center for me to have an argumentative discussion with. I find it refreshing to stand up for myself on occasion.

I have my own interpretation of The Word of God. I believe in being nice to people, that Jesus died for mankind. But there are many trivialities In the Bible that I couldn't care less for.
To cite Dave Mustaine: "Even though I have become A Christian I still say "f**k" and I still love blowjobs".
And that sums it up for me. I believe in God, but don't restrict my lifestyle. If I want to get drunk as hell, I'll do it. If I want to get laid, nothing is going to stop me(oh, except from the girl though lol)

It's a denomination of Christianity, and thus a more detailed way of saying Christian.

LaVey Satanist (NO I DO NOT WORSHIP SATAN!) which is an atheist religion. Unlike Christianity we believe in Lax Talonis AKA "Do unto others as they do unto you" We engage in egotheism, which is worship of self. Basically "I am my own God."

As a Catholic, I am looking for the Aspie who is Muslim & I would like to ask him/her this question:
What does Islam say about you being an Aspie?

I'm Catholic because I have a preoccupation with having rules to follow.

I'm agnostic but I chose atheist because, although there isn't enough proof to show that there is no god (or that there is), a god seems pretty unlikely to me.

If I have to chose between the two I'll go with agnostic though, especially since one of the reasons a god seems unlikely to me is probably that I read many more arguments against a god than in favor.

I'm atheistic, which would also have allowed for Not Religious. But I ran with the buzzword. I'm also agnostic. And apathetic. I'm not theistic, not gnostic, and not pathetic.

I don't bother maintaining a positive belief in a negative condition; I don't believe in deities, but I don't put any effort into supposing that they don't exist. They might exist: they might be hiding behind the goblins.

I'm willing to state that deities don't exist in fact. Yet. They might exist in truth, whatever that's good for. But, for now, they remain mythical. Which is fine: giant squids used to be mythical; then we proved them to exist. Which has no immediate bearing on Cthulhu, real or not.

I actually hope that, one day, deities are proved factual. I'd love to dissect one and figure out what it had evolved from.

It is out of curiousity, not out of religion. The Bible says absolutely nothing about AS but there are plenty of...oh wait never mind. I do not want to start an argument.

If it's not based on religion, well, why did you mention it then?
