my parents are christian but i've started to follow my own beliefs in life. i hear the same thing at each mass and i want something more than what's in the bible. i've realized that religion is a man-made thing and ,therefore, it shall have it's faults. my beliefs have their faults but i'm just happy i can understand them.

I'm a Christian. Although I haven't been so for very long (I had my confirmation earlier this year)

I must admit, I do find the social aspect of faith difficult. I'm ok with the worship bit. I understand the philosophical stuff. I enjoy the ritual. I'm just not very good at the coffee afterward; Making social chit-chat with other church goers.

I know what you mean, but not all places of worship do that, and you don't have too go. Besides socialising their is a lot easier than it is at college.

I can relate to the dislike of socializing. We recently closed down our Bible Study on campus (active 6 years) because there were too many new ones starting up at our timeslot and the attendance was suffering. I was against the idea of closing down, but the rest of the group was for it and I had to concede. Now I mainly study the Bible on my own when I have time.

I am a christian. God has shown me, that there is no such thing like 'freedom of religion' like it would be a hobby or something. Jesus Christ is the only way and all who turn a blind eye to this will pay for it.

Ahh, a fanatic. Bombed any mosques lately?

Remember young fool, the only wrong religon is the one that claims it's right.

I'll stay LaVey Satanist thank you very much.

I am a simple sinner, but a true christian fanatic doesn't bomb anything. A true christian fanatic is the best there can be on earth. Further, God is the one to judge mankind.

'Satanism' is a travesty, nothing more than a parasite 'belief' based upon the worship of men. What good is there in it? There is nothing special about rebelling, like darkness is simply the absence of light and a 'no' cannot be without a 'yes'.
Do you think your LaVey would have loved you and reared you like a good father, if you would have been a newborn in his hands?
God is the one who is to you like a caring father and you owe everything that is good to him. He is willing to forgive you.
God will reward you greatly, if you turn back from these lies.
Matthew 18-24 says:
12"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.
So delete all your posts about your lies in the forums, throw it all away, quit the liers and seek God.
The alternative to repenting is announced here:
Matthew 41The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Anyway, the topic of this thread wasn't 'what are your beliefs', but it was 'any christians?', so your posts about 'Satanism' (lol) are out of place.

Well, I was raised Roman Catholic, kinda went off on my own and went more toward Buddhism then atheism (not degeneration of faith - more or less just of world view and what I really thought of our existence). Now I'm starting to really see some valid points in the Nag Hammadi as far as Valentinian Gnosticism, that's not orthodox Christianity but it is Christianity none the less.
