Smoking can kill you by second hand smoke that's true but why would you go to a resturant and eat at a place wear smoking is allowed then complain about it at the same time.

I know of an old man that had a heart attack when he saw two young women with massive cleevage walk into a restaurant, are we going to demand that women cover their cleevage and that every low cut top has "Cleevage kills" printed on it? Plus, smoking is a lot less dangerous than a lot of other stuff I do, such as 50 - 60 hour workweeks + graduate school, 4 cans of energy drinks and about 8 cups of black coffee per day.

People who think cigarettes are "stinky" have never experienced the wonderful aromas of a Nat Sherman MCD or a Djarum Clove.

From what I've gathered you get about 1/1000 the smoke that a smoker does. Not really anything to freak out about.

I don't care about it, so long as it's not done on public property.
Smoking sections in restaurants are nice.
I don't know whose bozo idea it was to try to enforce smoking bans in privately-owned establishments, though.

I can't wait to light up.

What irritates me just as much is the stupendous taxes on cigarettes, then they want to tell us we can't smoke practically anywhere.

TM - I'm for more cleavage. The bigger the better!

I find smokers tend to be persecuted a bit too much. It's their own life, they can make their own mistakes (silly ones at that) but I won't make them out to be the devil.
And if they want to quite, well good on their lung.

I don't freak out about it because I smoke.

There is a lot of crap in the air besides cigarette smoke, what is to say none of that causes cancer?

Smoking sections in restaurants are nice.

So are peeing sections in swimming pools.

The government has the right and duty to enforce minimal standards of health and decency in places that are open to the public.

In all fairness, if they are dealing with health issues in public places, cigarette smoke is far down the list of s**t they should deal with. I also fundamentally disagree that the government has a right to mandate what I can and cannot do on my own property as long as its not against criminal law. f**k, in some cases such as Pot smoking, BDSM, Sodomy I think it should be mandatory to break the law within your own house, and yes there are still laws against BDSM and sodomy quite a few places.

Some kinds of pollution are known to cause cancer.

But, smokers are easier to pick on than multi-billion dollar industries.
