They only ever rides horses for ceremonial occasions now anyway. Same goes for the "red surge" that everyone pictures them wearing. Most of the time they look and act like any other police force in North America.

Are you aware just how big a moose is?!?

Even supposing that you could put saddle and tack on a moose, a rider would be compelled to use a stepladder, and ride sidesaddle!
