Looking again at this table

For the sake of simplified analysis and discussion, I've removed the "Other" category, and we are only looking at couples where both spouses self-identify as purebred, and either White, Black or Asian.

Asian women accout for 6% of the total wives, but a whopping 42% of the wives in inter-racial marriages.

White Husbands with Asian wives account for 39% of all inter-racial marriages.

The second most common interracial mating is Black Men with White Wives: 29% of inter-racial pairs.

We have about 340,000 more married Asian women than men, about 252,000 more married Black men than women, and 88,000 more married White men than women. Percentage-wise, the situation seems more acute for Asian guys. For White women--88,000 is a drop in the bucket, since Whites are most numerous. For Black women: it is more like a cupfull in the bucket.

Especially Asian guys, but also Black women, seem to be getting the short end of the stick, as Asian women pursue White men, and White women chase after Black men.

So we should promote this

...then, it seemeth that some of the Asian ladies pursuing White men, and that some of the White women chasing Black men, may be partially motivated by a desire for a sausage upgrade.

With hundreds of thousands of single Asian men and single Black women, and only 9,000 married couples where the husband is Asian and the wife is Black, it would only make sense to promote inter-marriage between these two groups.

Having identified the two groups (Black Women and Asian Men) in need of being promoted for interracial marriage, the question becomes: how to go about marketing them?

I think that most men would say, at least in their hearts, "Sure! I'll take one of those." They're so cute and sexy. Which leaves Asian men, more-or-less, high and dry. We need to find some way of making Asian men appear more appealing, particularly to the under-served Black female community.

Of course, there is Mrs. Obama, but she is a middle-aged married woman, about whom few men are going to entertain impure thoughts.

So people are concerned that interracial dating is leading to a surplus of single Asian men and single Black women?
Instead of promoting dating between members of these two groups, there is at least one other way of approaching this "problem": encouraging all people to date within their race.
But I suppose that is unthinkable to leftists. Whatever problems are caused by the leftward march of society, the answer is always the same: more leftism!

What does it have to do with "Leftism?"

The Supreme Court struck down anti-miscegenation laws almost 2 generations ago. People may marry whom they wish. Even the Republican platform isn't calling for a return to the bad old days.

Uh... non-sequitur alert.
Most people marry within their race already, but several people do not, and it has led to a surplus of single Asian men and single Black women.
If you consider this a problem that needs tackling, one approach is to encourage Asian man / Black woman pairings, and another is to encourage more people to date/marry within their race.

But that can be easily construed as racist.

I'm a white guy who is mostly attracted to men of other races (funny enough, most of my current crushes are Brazilians but I am open to all races). So... Yes, promote interracial marriage! Raise my chances of getting a date. If interracial marriage was normal and more common place, I'd be a in a metaphorical candy store!
