Yeah, they were quoting John Lennon - and he wasn't being racist, either. He was simply saying that women are like black people in how the world treats them. Even if you disagree, it doesn't mean he's racist just for using the word 'n****r' (I think he used that word to make the statement more powerful).

That's like saying Blazing Saddles is a racist film because they used that word in it (it's actually making fun of racism).

^^^^^^You are right about his use of the word,and in a lot of places sadly it's still true.

While sex "can" be a very good thing it often "isn't". And I wouldn't have any problems with the "friend zone". But honestly, following all those principles women "claim" to want in a guy makes you so tense and inhibited that most women (and guys for that matter) won't even take the time to get to know you.

I would love a friend who is a girl. Not anyone, naturally, but someone I can connect to. But that's hard.

But there "are" a set (several ones actually) of principles that "will" get you laid. Or at least will make sex much more likely. I really found that Neil strauss's writings helped a lot. There's a virtual horde of seduction gurus out there. Some of them actually quite decent ^^

I don't blame feminism so much for my lack of sex life, as for just leaving me emotionally messed up. For instance I used to feel (still do sometimes) that I had to be a cool alternative girl in order to be a good human being.

You most likely know more about wenches than the rest of us.

You have to tell a woman what she wants to hear.

That can work both ways. Both genders can be susceptible to manipulation.

Honesty and words of kindness are what most people need to hear,male or female.

I told this one lady I was an environmentalist when in reality I wasn't.

by that syllogism, I am not a "woman," despite posessing the required genetalia and being heterosexual.

Personally, I find men who see me as a human being much more attractive than men who see me as an animate object to stick their dicks in.
