So this is the number (what I asked) of as*holes in your social circles: Zero.

The number of as*holes in my social circles, to add a counterexample: Zero.

It seems like sexism is not a majoritary social behaviour.

Nothing Further, Your Honor.

If you are looking for personal experience, I have plenty. I grew up in an area where women who worked were insulted and looked down upon. I have a father who refused to allow his wife to work. I have three sisters, all of whom ended up in abusive relationships. I live next door to a man who, likes to say that the only thing women are good for are sex and snacks. I have a wife who works construction, but when we moved she could not find work for years, despite the fact that there was plenty of hiring. She was actually told to her face more than once that construction is not women's work. I spent 6 years in the US Navy, and I can tell you that tghere are plenty of absolute d-bags when it comes to their attitudes toward what a woman is worth. That whole woman in every port thing is quite common.

Aha. So it seems that for some people there's nobody around that behaves some way, and suddenly for you this is all around. It seems that you can find some social circles or social strata where all the people in society who behaves that way is there, inside, concentrated. What that means?

It means that there are plenty of absolute turds out there, and just because you aren't one and don't associate with them does not mean they are not prevalent.

Fine, I believe you don't discriminate. Who does, then? Little GrassHopper the white knight or CannonThinkAtAll? They're convinced feminists, so I suppose neither do they.

Me? I am the "machista" one, am I not?. I am the sexist one, isn't it? Though it seems difficult, since I have had some claims exactly for the opposite: for treating female friends as they were men (though other ones like it, anyway).

So, there's sexism but no sexists? Or, perhaps, they're sexists... some people, out there.... theeeeey....

You know what happens with the sexism issue? It follows a very common pattern: "society is that way, but it's them, not me" -> "society is bad, but I'm good" -> "people is bad, I'm better than most of them". The more you state than society is sexist, racist, or whatever, the more you shine in your shining armor.

Some people need to feel "special". And there's only two ways to do so: either you become better, either you convince yourself than the rest is worse.

Oh my god. Did you just resort to name calling and plain insulting?

This is God´s word. We praise you Lord.

Ah.. the religious people.

Maybe he is on holiday? I hear Thailand is lovely this time of year. 8O

You know what I was wondering?

How come some people want to reduce the suffering in the world, even at great personal cost to them and some people only care about themselves and it doesn't even upset them if they are causing suffering? Like there was a chap on WP who was bragging about how he made his millions about putting other people out of business and how having autism meant that he just didn't care.

Is everyone who has autism and a lot of money a cold hearted person?

Its a possibility but then again I have come across a lot of heartless NTs who are rich as well sometimes people dont give two s**ts about anyone but themselves and enjoy others suffering as they live in luxury!
