Nelson Mandela was in maximum security prison at the time, permitted to send no more than an average of one letter a week, and he was also in his late 60s and early 70s. He did not commit those bombings. They were organised by his wife Winnie, and other people who were not imprisoned at the time.
They cannot be described as "genocide".
