probably 50/50 on whether or not Hillary is the Democratic nominee or under federal indictment. It will be interesting if Bernie has any guts at all tonight, you can't win the DNC nomination without beating Hillary and you have to destroy her support. He needs to bring up those emails and other scandals.

Bernie Sanders needs to tone it down a notch. He always seems like he's yelling, I can barely listen to him.

Go Hillary!

Hope and think are two different things. I hope for Bernie Sanders becomes the candidate and President because he’s Democratic Socialism, not a social fascist, but he hasn’t got the press and Wall Street on side to make him President. I think Hillary will win the nomination and the presidency because she’s got Wall Street and a good propaganda machine.
Hillary Vs Trump: Democrats win and hold power for at least another 4 years. Donald Trump has made the 2016 Election very easy for the Democrats.

Let's put it this way: Bernie Sanders had to threaten to *sue* his own party to gain access to the mailing list...

Bernie won't do what it takes to beat Hillary, he looked like a joke apologizing for that "data leak" while punting on the fact that Hillary is under FBI investigation and could very well be disqualified from the presidency.

My prediction:
Clinton will be the party's choice, but Sanders will end up running as an independent after falling out with the Dems.

I believe you simply don't post if that's your opinion, which raises some questions about your identical posts in these GOP/Dem nominee threads.

I remain hopefully optimistic that Sanders will win the nomination , but I think that so far it's a toss up between he and Clinton. Martin O'Malley , while certainly a suitable , and qualified enough candidate , has failed to gain enough traction. And I feel that the recent terrorist attacks in Paris have only further served to hurt his chances , as he lacks foreign policy experience , having only risen no further than governor of Maryland .

Absent some sort of health crisis or previously unknown scandalous fact (the latter seems highly unlikely given that she has been subject to media scrutiny for 2 decades), Hillary Clinton will likely claim the nomination.

Sanders is:

- Too old
- Not popular with black and Hispanic voters
- To the left of Clinton on policy issues (and thus has much less appeal to moderate voters, who are crucial in a presidential election)

O'Malley is:

- Too far down in the polls
- Almost indistinguishable from Clinton on several policy issues
- Probably more interested in a position in Clinton's cabinet (or positioning himself for a later presidential bid in 2020/2024) than campaigning aggressively against Clinton

That skews the results, though, as the votes that are otherwise tallied may end up being a teensy proportion of the whole.

Good point; but the point that I am trying to make is that it doesn't really matter who gets nominated or elected. They'll screw up what ain't screwed up and then get blamed for everything else.

Based on how things have been going for America since 9/11, she will win the nomination, crush her opponent in the general election and either get indicted or have "smoking gun" damming evidence come to light after the election but before the inauguration.

Well I am hoping for Bernie, but don't know if he will win....I guess that somewhat depends on how many people un-affiliated with a political party edit their voters information to register as democrats to vote for Bernie in the primaries and actually make it to the polls.

He has support from a lot of democrats to, but a lot of his supporters aren't affiliated or independent.
