This is like asking to name a politican that doesn't lie. --I can't think of any of those, either.

Name a population that doesn't want to be lied to.

Name a population that doesn't want to be lied to.

Minorities, oppressed people...

They don't want to be lied to about some things, but they do want to be lied to about others. If it didn't work, no one would do it.

Gustavus Adolphus the king of Sweeden during the 30 Years' War, at least from what I read about him in the homeschool history textbook Streams Of Civilization 2 and the historical fiction novel Lion Of The North by G.A. Henty, sounded like one of the best leaders ever. Tsar Peter The Great also. Senator Marcus Tullius Cicero was also cool.

I liked President Obama (mostly). He was a good president. Changed his mind about "GLBT" marriage, and also tried his best to help "United States Of America" for the better. That's the only one I can think of.

I used to think he had something going for him but now I see I was a fool. He was only interested in sending his Chief of Staff to Chicago to take over to prepare the way for him (time will tell).

This pig goes on TV to squeeze out a little "tear for the children" while he continues to slaughter hundreds of women and children in other countries.....are those children not worthy of a tear or two (as he kills a hundred more)????

And the promise of bringing our men home from overseas? More phony BS while he continues to rile people into hatred for us.....leaving no choice for the next President except to send more troops (or make peace...I'll believe it when I see it).

He has an agenda, that's for sure....but it doesn't bode well for the people who elected him.

Caroline Lucas stands head and shoulders above pretty much every politician in the UK.

As previously mentioned, Hillary Benn and Lisa Nandy are decent.

I don't always agree with Ken Clarke but I think he often speaks sense and is worth listening to.

Rory Stewart has got himself some air time recently and, the made up numbers thing he did in that interview aside, I quite like to listen to him. I think he will become much more prominent in the future

I also really like Nick Clegg, even though no one else seems to. He gets some stick justifiably, and acknowledges that, but he also gets blames for things unfairly imo
