5 of his underlings face jail time, or pardons from him. I hope the drip drip drip turns into a torrent which washes that mess out of our hair.

If New York were to charge and convict Cohen on some New York crimes, Trump couldn't pardon him out of that. Considering that Trump has said some rather derogatory things about Cohen, I don't imagine that Cohen is going to get any pardon anyway.

Trump deported an actual Nazi responsible for the deaths of thousands if not millions of Jews and so,emon the left defend the Nazi while calling trump a Nazi. 0.o
So it’s ok to do evil stuff as long as your old now. If hitler suddenly came out of hiding I wonder if the left would defend him, “leave the old man alone they’d say”

It’s been all over the news
He was a ss guard at a place where they murdered Jews, 6,000 in one day alone.
But left leaning com mentors are anti ice anti deportation day leave the poor old man alone. He’s a monster. I hope they take him to trial in Germany for his crimes against humanity. I don’t care how old a Nazi, it sickens me they got away with their crimes and lived happy lives.

Suppose Alex jones runs all the left leaning news now ?
CNN, abc, la times, etc

I stand corrected. Did happen which is great.

Don’t see anyone defending him at all. If you call the NY Times article defending him it’s obviously not- all it says is all undocumented immigrants aren’t heinous monsters like right wing news apparently, from what the article shows, is trying to spin it that way - not surprising at all there.

So show a left wing source that is actually defending the MAN rather than attacking the “see, we deported one nazi so all our deportations are amazing!! !” spin.

ABC provided this quote:

Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., who was among those calling for Pal's deportation told ABC News the U.S. is "no place for a war criminal."

So where is your “leftists defending a Nazi” Alex Jones kinda spin? On that note, has the right-wing elected any more nazis through its general elections?

Read comments on Facebook or any news that allows comments(non of the left leaning ones do anymore) they’re filled of people saying leave him alone, get rid of ice etc same people call trump and anyone pro trump a Nazi and want them dead. Apparently to the point to defend a actual Nazi cause trump deported him. Wonder if any of them had a breakdown cause on one hand trump deported the guy they hate trump and anything he does other hand the guy kept Jews inside a camp where they were murdered

As far as New York Times their article on it was more biased and seemed to pain the Nazi as presumed innocence and no real proof. Wtf

So comments with no idea who they come from, gotcha.

Also, no NYT didn’t say he was innocent. They said that sadly he likely won’t be convicted. Which is f-ing terrible. That wasn’t to say he’s innocent but there’s a problem with the court system that will allow this guy to go. Criminals get off all the time unfortunately.

Germany has a history of not letting Nazis get off. They wanted to trial a Nazi who Italy said wasn’t guilty cause he was just following orders, which made Italy retrial the guy.

You have excuse for everything, Facebook comments(used for most comments anywhere) trace back to the persons profile. You can then see their other posts and party affiliation if listed.

They went in and on about illegedged and how he says he didn’t
Other news sources just say maxim deported to German and don’t talk about his side at all they just lost that he guarded a camp that killed thousands of Jews.

Looking at the comments on NYT, yeah - still seeing no leftists defending him. Rather leftists noting Trump doesn't deserve all the credit, that the right trying to spin the story to make all undocumented immigrants look like monsters is wrong, and noting ICE went after people who weren't even close in criminal acts to this ex-Nazi guard and questioning why it took so long to deport an actual threat. Not seeing any leftists defending the Nazi though. That said, I know for a fact some right-wingers are angry since they likely wanted him to run for office like some of their other "fine" people are.

Quote:
Mr. Palij has long denied participating in any killings, saying that he had merely guarded bridges and rivers. The SS forced him to work for them, he said, threatening to kill him and his family. “I know what they say,” he told The New York Times in an interview in 2003, “but I was never a collaborator.”

But the United States government determined in the early 2000s that as a guard aiding the SS at Trawniki he was.

Yeah. They stated that he tried to claim innocence, but he was found guilty - that is leaps and bounds different from the NYT painting him as innocent. That's literally stating he tried the innocence defense BUT it was found inadmissible and wrong.

-- Also, I was wrong before. I thought the NYT article you posted went into him being unlikely prosecuted, re-reading it the article didn't. I found that through google search. Here's more about the unlikelihood to prosecute:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/ ... ed-from-us

Surprised NYT didn't state that because although it isn't a happy ending, it's still important to note.

Sickeningly Trump actually made the Nazi war criminal's life better.

This story gets even more f-ed up.

Quote:
While Americans may be celebrating the expulsion, Germans are left with a "bitter aftertaste," an article in left-leaning newspaper Taz on Wednesday pointed out. Palij will "live here for the rest of his life. He will be cared for, receive financial help; a roof, food and clothing," comforts he would not have received from the government in the U.S., Taz reported.

Simply put: Trump deporting him leads to Palij being cared for. I'm going to be sick.
