Well if he did I saved his bacon.

How? By saying I was looking for attention? lol
I posted it so many times because I wanted an explanation and I didn't want him to be able to just get away with not responding.

I generally try to avoid responding to silly questions, but alas, am usually unsuccessful at restraining myself. I find it interesting that my accusation touched such a nerve with you (which is a rare thing for you -- you're usually pretty laid-back and/or cocky). So I wanted to see how long you'd squirm about it. You see, I never said you SAID you hated men. I simply stated what must be likely be true at least on some level, if you truly can NEVER, EVER, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, do a man. I mean, come on, that's quite an absolute, seeing as how you've got the parts for it. I just assumed you have a severe problem with the very fact that they're men. I mean, there are some VERY effiminate men, who basically have women's personalities. No other factor is left for you to object to except for the mere FACT that they are designated "men". Because, with the extreme variety of "men" that exist, I find it impossible to believe you couldn't halfway enjoy even one!

This argument is ilogical and ill-logical
You were stating that it must be that she hates men and she probably had any bad experience with a man in her childhood? that is why she is not attracted to them, I'm sorry but I think that is a typical assumption from homophobic beliefs, and again, you were just thinking and wondering with a single anti-gay point of view in to your mind, convinced yourself that this is wrong and unnatural, so it must have been a tramuatic experience or something from the environment that made her "choose" to not like men anymore.

And it seems you didn't think of another possibility, and have you wondered about this other view? maybe she was really born this way, and she never liked men in the first place? Have you ever think about that?

Also, not being attracted to the opposite sex doesn't mean that person hates them. That kind of assumptions come from sexism if you ask me.

i pmed you a response (cause i read it before you changed it) and dont really care to hear anything back from you...

but i am done. whatever we disagree on in threads and call each other names... i do so cause i thought we at least had some sort of respect for eachother on a different level

and to think the times i do come to your defense... amidst our in-thread arguments

but i see that you really dont care what lines you cross or whether you really do offend people on a very personal level (and im not talking about our bantar)

we'll still have our knitty gritty debates... but if you somehow get the feeling they're a bit colder

it's because they are

so as i left it in the pm

gl take care

good bye

and i really dont appreciate that you change your response to this lame smartass remark that is so one-dimesnional of you... you shoulda left the other response

apologies in advance if im just overlooking the real response due to lag

time to get back to chores

80 pgs or bust!

I didn't mean to replace the other post. I'm on my blackberry, and I hit edit to copy a block of text for a seperate response to that one comment. I forgot I was still in the original comment, and just started typing. Anyway, I've apologized to Sedaka via pm.

i know who's missing more points.

Um... How can you know what your missing?? That's logically impossible.

i dont...

but if i tally all the points that I CATCH YOU MISSING vs the few you CATCH ME MISSING

the numbers fall in my favor

that's all the logic i need

That's cuz you keeping hallucinating points I've "missed" Being delusional is no excuse for sloppiness.

This article demonstrates one of the most hateful and sick things I have ever seen a "church" do.

Fan the flames, Joe. Say no to peace. Any one of us could dredge up a hate clip from pretty much any group. Please don't share your hate with us.

Is there actually some point there. If I wanted to I could dredge up lots of articles with evil things that individual gay people have done. but it would be rather pointless.

It's relevant because there aren't a shedload of gay people specifically targeting Christians and making out they're inferior 0r bad people. Canceling a funeral just because you find out the dead person was gay is.

Depends. I think it's OK to bash someone for their opinions or actions. Not for what they are though. I don't mind people bashing me for having certain views or doing something they disapprove of, it does bother me if it's because I'm not straight, or I'm white, or I have brown hair.

I meant bashing in the literal sense.

I was bashing what he beleived in-not what he is
if I said, white's suck (despite the fact I was white) then I'd be targeting him as a person
I was simply targeting his beleifs
like he targets mine...

And so it follows that if literally bashing somebody from one particular group is a "hate crime" then literally bashing anyone from any other particular group is also a "hate crime".

He didn't mean literally bashing though. He meant on the forums.

Yes, well. One would hope it was just a person's views that were being debated. I don't think disagreement means "hate" - it just means disagreement.

But it's not just a disagreement if what they're 'bashing' is what the person is, rather than their opinions or beliefs.
