OK, ship 1000 gross of those DVDs to the Jehovahs Witnesses. That should short-circuit their afterlife plans....

There's an entire book on this subject, the name of which escapes me, written by a well known and respected scholar, and he does indeed imply Jesus was gay. Personally, I think he probably was asexual and focused on other issues besides sex...

Still, boys, don't get too hot and bothered if you do believe he was gay, because he was apparently quite unattractive as well, according to accurate descriptions of the time (short, with a hump, a very large, hook-like nose, and thick, unruly eyebrows; he was part of the Essene tribe, not exactly supermodel material). It's the whole Jesus PR machine which later did a complete image makeover and made him look like a hot, toned, wild haired rock star, much more suitable for public consumption.

Well, at least he made sure there was always food and wine around...

Does it matter? really why would it matter if JC [assuming he is one real individual] was gay or not?
If you are a christian it might matter but only if you have some problem with homosexuality.

I don't believe Jesus was divine or the son of God or anything like that, but it's just plain wrong to sling rumors instead of voicing honest opinions. We aspies should know better.

I don't see how you can conclude Jesus was attracted to anyone. He said to Mary Magdalen "Go and sin no more". He said to Judas "You betray me with a kiss". I don't know about you, but to me these sound downright rude. Certainly not something you'd say to someone you were even remotely friendly with.

The DaVinci Code was a work of fiction, an exercise in stringing together unrelated factoids into a scandal. I think that's been done before in novels.

Truly I apreciate the humour. Though I take it that some respondents are gay, the question is what differnece does that really make other than to piss off the traditional catholics that might be appauled by the idea. Ok I think I might have answered my own question, but they might not be reading this forum though. Any response to this might be fun to read.
