How are you going to celebrate when trump gets convicted?

The cult of Trump is built around him being a winner, not his actual ideology (if he even has a coherent ideology).

If you truly want America to return to normal non populist politics he needs to fail the test of your democratic processes. Multiple times.

If you just want the temporary high of seeing the bad man in an orange jumpsuit then okay, but it won't solve the bigger problem.

He is a loser. He lost the 2020 election. He lied and said it was stolen and his cult followers believe it. It doesn’t matter if he wins or loses they will idolize him. Even after he dies if the maga cult vibe is strong gop politicians will be sucking trump ghost dick in order to get the cult vote.

The Nazis cannot happen again, because of the widespread nuclear capability of developed nations.

There's nothing to stop a nuclear war if a country was stupid enough to ignore warnings of nukes and if they continued sending their troops into a country that isn't theirs.

A small, non-NATO country like Ukraine, being invaded, is stoking fears of nuclear war. If Russia invade a NATO nation, NATO nations are obliged to protect each other with nuclear force if necessary.

The Russians are the closest modern day equivalent to the Nazis. Not even Trump's America is close to Putin's Russia in terms of war readiness and fascism (yes, Russia are fascist in their current form).

I don't foresee them rolling in their tanks or dropping bombs onto every nuclear armed western capital, however.

Maga doesn't need Trump. We see similar things in society.

LaVeyan Satanism doesn't believe in Satan. They view Satan as a useful archetype to represent their doctrine. Yet, as atheists, they're the biggest sect of modern Satanism. They get along fine without him.

Some Christians like to put up signs saying "Keep Christ in Christmas". Why? Because you no longer need Christ in Christmas. Atheists, Hindus, Wiccans, and even some Christians get along perfectly fine with Santa instead.

QMAGAnon (QAnon + MAGA) currently find Trump to be a useful figurehead. But they're in it for themselves. They seem to actually want an alternative type of America. Their ideologies have been worked out. If Trump suddenly died, they'd try to carry on. There's no doubt they're Trump cultists, but his cult would survive him. Heck, even the Branch Davidians are still operating in Waco.

Trump has climbed to where he is because of his ability to whip his followers into a rabid frenzy. He encourages them. I don't feel like the comparison between he and Satan for the LaVeyan Satanists works very well because to me it feels like the Satanists were like "this figurehead will work for us" and Trumps followers are supporting HIM. Not even necessarily what he thinks he stands for or believes in.
