I've been so depressed for more than twelve hours. This is so bad for me, so bad for my loved ones, so bad for the population in general whether they realize it or not, so bad for the country/democracy, and even bad for the entire world.

Trump is such an obvious baddie. For Americans to elect him, I just can't even. My faith in the people of the country is shot. I'm just so done.



I have a referral for an autism screening, but you know what? I don't think I should do it. I don't want to be put on another list. And lists are going to exist, as they already do in some red states. This is dire.

I still can't believe he actually won.. I'm almost in denial about this. "People obviously wouldn't vote for a convicted felon, right??" The house and senate are also mostly republican, so it's a total sweep this year, meaning project 2025 might will happen.

The question is, how do we fight back? Can we even fight back?

Despite all of the macho rhetoric and nasty things that were said by the right about single women who don't have children during this election cycle, I am not sure I have ever felt more at peace with my personal decision not to bring kids into this world then I do today given the implications this election has had for our country's future.

It's not just the White House we're talking about, either, it's the senate, the supreme court and possibly the house. Few guard rails to keep authoritarian tendencies in check. A dark and frightening day.

The Divided States is a racist, misogynist, homophobic country full of ignorance and arrogance, so naturally this happened again. I know many other Americans are very afraid right now, but I also know I don't really care. Any compassion and empathy I have is gone. Over. Dead.

I also know Murricans would rather die than have a female for president, that's why a different male got elected last time. Never mind that other countries have or have had female presidents and leaders.

On the plus side the orange cancer tumor is old so it'll probably die soon. But not soon enough unless a hero manages to assassinate it.

The fact that Trump was elected demonstrates that there are huge issues with racism and sexism in this country. I suspect that’s largely why Harris lost. Voting for a racist, rapist says a lot. People can whine about stuff Democrats have said all they want to. It doesn’t excuse the fact that they voted for a monster. Granted, a lot of people are so wrapped up in the Cult of Trump they won’t acknowledge his sh***y behavior, but that’s not Democrats’ fault, either.

This is a great day for felons and 'friends of Epstein'. This is the first time America shows that a felon and child molester can do anything in America, even if everyone already knows about their sordid history. Finally felons and child molesters have representation at the highest level. Sweaty creeps unite, America is holding you close to her bosum.

All the threads on the election today are prime examples of how to lose an election.

English is no longer become the prime language of the US today and have been replaced with this language called "Slur"

For Trump supporters what they are in essence saying " Trump is an honorable man, he is the type of person I want my sons and daughters to emulate. What his supporters have done is "cut off their nose to spite their face" They live in this country too.

h.l. Mencken, a hundred and some years ago, said "no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public." it still is true today. people will continue to vote to screw themselves over with no awareness that they are not.
