This is not Hell, citizen.  The past 4 years never happened.  There never was a Biden or a Harris.  There is only Trump.  Trump for all and all for Trump, as we say in The Village.

May or maynot be in for actual Hell ..pretty sure it will be a bumpy road?.but maybe watching things that go unchecked , that might be hazardous to anyones safety . Maybe in order ?

That is completely the wrong take. I personally refused to vote for Harris because the Democrats couldn't even be bothered to try to earn my vote and I doubt I'm the only one.

The party refuses to let the primary voters choose the nominee, and this time, they weren't even willing to pretend like they were going to have a real primary. They had an incumbent that had clearly lost the plot last election and mostly won by not having to actually go out and campaign. Meanwhile, love him or hate him, Trump has always been able to win the primaries he needs in order to win the nomination. He has in 3 straight elections.

So, rather than name calling the GOP and the right, perhaps some recriminations and finger pointing at the Democratic leadership that's apparently going to get away with throwing another completely winnable election. The only reason why Trump wasn't reelected in 2020 was that Biden had enough connections to eek it out We had a legitimately popular candidate in Bernie and the DNC purposefully went out of their way to chase us out of the party and do everything possible to ensure that we wouldn't have a say in further elections.

The vote blue no matter who people that enabled this behavior are just not going to learn a lesson from this. It's going to be more nonsense where they try to convince non-trans men and women that that's not the normal situation rather than the more popular notion that trans men and trans women deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. It is never going to work out politically to go around and try to gaslight the majority of the people and expect that they're going to go along with it. Especially not in the current climate where there's so many people being hurt by the failure of these parties to take affirmative steps to address the issues of the day in any sort of substantive way.

I see a lot of whining now and hand wringing over how this happened, but it's all over YouTube and the like of people trying to shame men into voting for Harris in spite of her not really promising much to us that isn't being offered to everybody else. I didn't see any indication that she'd address the education gap, male self-murder rates, workplace deaths or any of the other issues that are facing men.

It's going to be a bumpy road and if resistance libs had actually resisted, we'd be in a far better position. Or, perhaps done something radical like offering the people that voted for Trump an alternative to address their grievances rather than just dumping more fuel on the fire for the purposes of fundraising. They knew how unpopular Pelosi was, and yet they didn't take away here speakership when she became a major thing that the GOP was running against.

Personally, I'd say that anybody who claims to know what's coming is completely full of it. He's got strong support on SCOTUS and control of the legislature. OTOH, a lot of the people who were working for him last time wound up in prison or have otherwise come out against him, so it's going to be interesting to see what sort of people are scummy enough to go for the BS he's been pushing that are still eligible to work in the administration.

Anyway, trying to overthrow a legitimately democratically-elected government* is fundamentally undemocratic. Voters could still choose someone else, anyway. Violence will solve nothing here.

We must be certain to not do the same bad deeds which were done on the other side. In the words of FLAVOR FLAV, "two wrongs don't make a right".

*Until an investigation has been completed, i see reasons to think that this election stinks a bit, not that the election was fraudulent. Claims of fraudulence should require significant evidence.

We cannot stoop to unfounded election denial. We have not yet had an investigation, and we must be willing to accept the results of such an investigation.

But we have to think about all the things that will be banned under Trump 2.0. Project 2025's definition of "porn" is anything the Heritage Foundation doesn't like. And even if weed, porn, and abortion aren't banned nationally, there are still many states that would ban those things, with strict enforcement and severe punishments.

In Alabama, being caught with even a small amount of weed is a 25-year prison sentence on first offense, and that's if you're white. If you're not white, you'll never get out.

Red state governors are very adamant about legislating morality. My state's governor prioritized banning dick pics over modernizing the state's power grid. 200+ people froze to death as a result one fateful week in February 2021. But hey, at least no dick pics were taken.

Some states are considering the death penalty for abortion, both for the person performing it, and the one receiving it. In other words, a 10-year-old (and her doctor) could be executed for terminating her rape baby, but her rapist gets a less severe sentence.

i am aware, and i am scared, too. But these people are also scared. All of us are f*****g terrified right now.

In any case, if we abandon our morality, if we abandon our Constitution, then we have won nothing but our own destruction by the very means of which we have been accused. We run the risk of becoming become that monster under the bed which we swore never existed and never would exist.

For the record, my idea scares the f*****g hell out of me, too, and i completely understand your desire for vengeance -- prose cannot adequately describe my terror. But i believe. i hope. i must. i just do not know that i can manage the strength.
