Bombing Iran would be setting off a hornet's nest of retribution. All the current funding for international terrorism from Iran is probably a legacy of US entering Iran in 1980 to rescue hostages. terrorists have long memories.

Most MAGAs definitely don't want a war with Iran, and also don't want to be supporting Israel in a ball-and-chain kind of way, in my opinion. It's actually a good point that I think there is much more in common with American social conservatives and the quotidien values of people in the Middle East then the big system dares want to let people become aware of, for obvious reasons.

Some of the more recent wars I think it's become a direct goal of global neo-liberals to get involved in because they want the "refugee crises" that happen later, to increase diversity back in Western countries, which is what they effectively know is going to happen as fallout from these wars and interventions. I'm talking about people like Antonio Blair that basically know this and can think ahead.
