Also note the shocking cognitive decline of Trump: back then, bragging and uneducated as usual - but lucid.
These days he can barely string an incomplete sentence together without rambling off onto side-topics and repetition.

I'm not sure I can agree, considering how neo-liberalism and it's consequences have been a disaster for the societies that have adopted it. Friedman and Hayek invented one of the most destructive ideologies known to man and we're suffering the consequences of adopting their bad ideas.

In practice neo-liberalism just amounts to a method by which both wealth and power can be stripped from regular people and given to oligarchs.

Yeah, he’s the candidate I wanted in 2016 and 2020 although I had some concerns, especially in 2020, that he’d be too progressive for conservatives. Now I’m thinking that they would’ve reacted about the same to any person who wasn’t Trump.

This is probably a controversial clip but I found it fascinating. This is an old clip of Milton Friedman on the "Phil Donahue" show. Probably in the 1970's i'm guessing.
