"Nation" is rather an artificial concept to begin with, so while you're free to discuss it as much as you please, most people here will tend to be dismissive of obvious nonsense.

Behold, number5 has spoken! If she says speaking about XYZ is "pointless" we better all just shut our traps!

Well, number5, you're wrong on both counts. Speaking about racial differences in IQ is taboo, as Nobel prize winning geneticist James Watson found out.

Furthermore, James Watson was correct about low African IQs, which means that our giving huge sums of money to Africa in the belief that it will help Africa become more like Europe is a waste of time. For this reason, among many others, speaking about racial differences is not "pointless".

To Carlofist: there are other aspects of racial differences that are even more politically incorrect than IQ levels, for example the distribution of traits such as cunning, psychopathy, propensity for violence etc.

Also, the subject of which particular race has been the driving force behind making racial differences a taboo subject in the West is itself a taboo subject.

People who bang on about IQ don't really know what it is. I think it is because it has the word "intelligence" in the name.

There are many that argue that working memory deficiency, and memory in general is a far greater problem than overall low IQ. IQ testing is a crude tool.

Oh please. The cultural environment make a HUGE difference on the development. Which mean if your poor you're pretty screwed up to begin with. Particulary if your mother is a alcoholic, your home is deprived of stimulation and books, the television is always on, you're badly feed and your school is underfunded with a lot of kids without future.

The japanesse had bad IQ scores in the fifthy, but they scores rise up with the reconstruction of their country. A few decades variation that can't be explained by genetic. Even if U.S.A. get a good eduaction system, the mean Iq will still be lower. Nt because of race, but because of a high povertry rate.

Also, are you smarter that this little girl?

A reminder to all; racist commentary is not permitted under site rules. If there can be objective discussion, fine; otherwise, this thread will be closed.

It was originally intended only to be used as a tool to predict learning deficiency...not to measure any actual "intelligence".

The only thing that an IQ test can you is how well you can take an IQ test.
