It will be interesting to count how many minutes it takes him to use the phrase "I'm not racist BUT..."

I think he partly thrives on the impression he gives that things he says are "controversial" enough to be "censored" by the British media. Giving him time on air more fitting for someone in his not totally insignificant political position would at least help stifle this aspect.

And equally amusing is the Mr Creosote reference.
I'd be interested to hear what he has to say. It's difficult to claim someone is wrong when you've never actually listened to their arguments and instead prejudging what they say. But it'll be satisfying to realise, when he finally has time to speak, that your prejudgement were fully accurate. If he has anything profound to say, he's finally got a chance to say it. However, having browsed their website, it was more comedy than profound, so I severely doubt it.

I think it's great that he'll be on the BBC Question Time, not just because I agree with a lot of what he says, but because it'll stop filthy traitors like Hain appearing on Newsnight to whine about it, something I'm getting rather tired of. Here's Nick Griffin being interviewed:

I do not like him, I was told by my wife about his latest adventure.

He was going on that vile criminals in jail watch TV for free while brave wounded british servicemen have to pay to watch TV in the MoD hospital.

Then a spokeman for the MoD pointed out that while in a private or NHS hospital you might have to pay to watch TV in a MoD hospital you watch it for free (and always have had free TV).

Game set and match to the MoD spokesman

I’m also glad Nick Griffin is going to be on Question Time.
I suspect it will be painful viewing though, because you just know the mob will hardly let him finish a sentence.
The good thing is that all this might awaken a few people to the fact that the real hatred in our society comes from our own political and media establishment, not from the BNP.

He doesn’t talk like that, because he knows that the word “racist” in Britain is just a political tool used to bully native Britons and prevent them from defending their own interests (similar to how it is used against white Americans in the States).

Extraordinary. You admit that your opinion that Nick Griffin is “wrong” is based on prejudice, since you have never heard him speak, then proclaim that you know he is wrong anyway.

By the way, maybe you could tell us all what it was you found so amusing on the BNP website?

Well, I just saw it.

I watched as a Black American, an ex-Communist and an Asian Muslim tried to tell an Englishman that his own people don't exist.

It was pretty funny when the three lib-lab-con politicians had a heated debate among themselves about how to stop the rise of the BNP. Their answer? "We need to have a debate."

It's an absolute whine fest. Waah, no mainstream media will air our views. Waah, the audience are all liberals who are biased. Waah, it was a setup. The BNP bore the hell out of me and so do most of their activists trying to preach their gospel. It's not even worth trying to argue with them about anything. Life's too short to bother with idiots like Nick Griffin. I guess disagreeing with any of their views makes me part of this secret Marxist conspiracy the people on their website go on about all the time.

No. I think anti immigration is wrong because I know a lot of political philosophy, and on the basis that Nick Griffin is anti immigration I'm going to call him wrong. However, it is possible that Nick Griffin might have something to put into the debate, hence he needs his time to speak, but given that hundreds of years of philosophy have not been able to give good answers, I suspect neither will Nick Griffin.

As for the BNP website, during the June 4th campaign they had:

Ridiculous. As for content wise, they had some almost conspiracy stuff about how they would not get in power now but when global resources ran out they could have a chance and there role today was to pave the way. The website has changed since June 4th, that information no longer seems to be there. Put 'BNP oil' into google and the first link that comes up was it, although it now just goes to the main web page. Suffice to say it was also ridiculous.

Haven't seen the debate, might tomorrow, so maybe Griffin may yet overturn hundreds of years of philosophical developments.

"I didn't say that" "It was recorded on video" "It wasn't like that at all" "It's on youtube" "... OK, well.. I might have said that, but it's only because I was with someone from the KKK"

You know there are worse things than being fat such as being racist and a bigot both of which Glegg is so why anyone would need to use playground pejoratives I've no idea. You're doing their job for them by redirecting people's attention.

He could lose weight any time but he'll probably always be a racist c**t.
