I am forever pure.

What is illusion,
Or the world?

What is the little soul,
Or God Himself?

One without two,
I am always the same.

I sit in my heart.

I'm feel I'm less Christian every day that passes, though I was raised that way. I've been singing in Cathedrals since I was six, and I always liked the following few verses from the Psalms:

Psalm CXXXIX, vv 7-10:
Whither then shall I go from Thy spirit, or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I go up into the Heaven, Thou art there; if I go down into Hell, Thou art there also.
If I take the wings of the morning, and go to the uttermost parts of the Sea,
Even there shall Thy hand lead me; even there shall Thy right hand hold me fast.

Personally, I find the effect of these verses for me is improved by the "older" style English, but ignoring any religious connotations, I sill find them to be beautiful words.

The only other quote I can think of right now, is John, Chapter I, vv6, which always felt like a great way to start a story:

"There once was a man, sent from God, whose name was John."

Kinda has that "epic" feel to it.

Still, that's my fiftieth of a dollar.

"My imaginary friend is better than your imaginary friend. Your imaginary friend dosen't exist. Mine does." Replace "imaginary friend" with "God", and it is equally valid, occurs all the time, yet makes just as much sense.

- My best friend

"You can't spell apathetic without pathetic"

"common since isn't very common"

" a drunken man's words are that same sober man's thoughts"

[ these aren't really religious quotes or anything theyr just powerful quotes I invented myself actually but I think they make perfect since. ]

"All we are is dust in the wind"

Socrates

"Give me liberty or give me death"

Patrick Henry

"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get"

Forrest Gump

"political correctness is just inverted bigotry"

a friend of mine

After coming into contact with a religious man I always feel I must wash my hands.

Christianity gave Eros poison to drink; he did not die of it but degenerated into vice.

A subject for a great poet would be God's boredom after the seventh day of creation.

Fanatics are picturesque, mankind would rather see gestures than listen to reasons.

I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time.

In Christianity neither morality nor religion come into contact with reality at any point.

The Christian resolution to find the world ugly and bad has made the world ugly and bad.

The word "Christianity" is already a misunderstanding - in reality there has been only one Christian, and he died on the Cross.

Two great European narcotics, alcohol and Christianity.

Woman was God's second mistake.

-- Nietzsche

If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him

(So people don't get the wrong idea. That's a Buddhist phrase)
