Whoa, not much of a turnout here. I honestly don't know how this will play out. None of the candidates look like they have mainstream appeal. and Trump has them all beat on fringe appeal; so I'm thinking it'll be Trump.

It will either be Trump or someone else not listed at the convention

The DNC has already made it clear to Bernie Sanders that Hilary will get the nomination (by refusing access to their voter lists). I'd be really surprised if the GOP/TOP didn't do things the same way. In the last decade+, they've shown a consistent method of exposing the far right whack job candidates first in order to grab the extremist votes and donations, then as the year progresses, fold them into the campaign of the candidate that gets the nomination. Who, it's usually obvious, fit the party platform best from the beginning and had the best built out campaign machine because their backers built the thing.

It looks like much of my lifetime will be lived in an America run by either a Bush or Clinton...

Is there a reason Mitt Romney isn't running this time? Even though I generally don't care for Republicans, he seemed like a decent man.

As much as I don't like Trump, he will most likely win.

There is no poll option for "Who cares?"

Hard to say without actual votes bieng counted, but Trump has been ahead and ahead by a fairly consistant amount in the polls for 6 months now. Anybody who thinks he is a fad that is somehow going to go away once people come to thier senses are in denial.

Simply going by what my Republican sister has told me , I think that it might be Ted Cruz. However , with all of the sizable number of candidates still in the running , I feel that it is difficult for anyone of them to take a commanding lead. It is turning out to be like a case of divide and conquer.

From the looks of it, the PPR crowd overwhelmingly doesn't like Donald Trump and overwhelmingly thinks he'll win the primaries.

It's overwhelmingly composed of Bernie socialists. It's increasingly likely they'll have to settle with the Wicked Witch instead and still having to end up dealing with The Donald being in the White House.

This beast is of our own making. To get matching funds, they have to hang in till Jan. 1.

Then tax payers cut a check, and losers are free to drop out and keep the money.

That produces a tax payer funded Super Pac, that can give money to other races.

Public Funding produced just what public funding was to prevent.

After Jan1, they are just wasting money, so I expect the field to get smaller.

Trump by a mile, and Ted Cruz.

The threat at this point is JEB will run independent as The Free Republicans.

I have more or less endorsed Jeb Bush, but it looks like Trump is unstoppable.

This would hand the election to the Dems.

Well, Lindsey Graham is out of the race, not that it makes any difference in our poll. Marco Rubio comes across as more electable than Ted Cruz or Donald Trump, who are just too polarizing.
