no one is trying to take your rights away...

A dose of politically incorrect truth from one of your own.

The video is directed against religious conservatives not white people. Bieng able to say stupid bigoted things falls under the constitutional right of free speech.

I didn't think any of my rights were being threatened over my being white(of course not pure bred I have some native blood to).

Though I can think of some examples of people trying to remove rights, like states surrounding mine that want to take away my right to smoke cannabis...but of course that wouldn't be an issue specific to white people, people of all races smoke cannabis.

You need to listen to the entire video again... This isn't isn't about speech, this is about imposing one's religious/cultural values on EVERYONE else.

Lay off the accent.Accent has nothing to do with ignorance or intelligence.

I know that I have a speech impediment though I sound deaf more then dumb mostly because I was deaf as a child but I found it funny that he fits the stereotype. Does the accent make him dumb? no. but is there irony in the fact that he is dumb? yes.

How do you get dumb?Ive been harassed by white Christians.Telling me I'm going to hell becuse I haven't been babtised, that if you drink you're for sure on the straight path to damnation.I don't want to be "saved".I think Bible thumpers are some of the most annoying and prejudiced people on the planet.
I get the point he's making.I think he's amping up the accent a bit, remember Jim Varney?

I liked Jim Varney.

I can understand it if you think of him as a stereotype, though.

He wasn't a redneck, though. More like a generalized "hick."

Gods children fail to represent who and what God is, myself included. We can't represent a prefect God because we are imperfect, everyone is judgmental including myself. I for one don't believe you or anyone else in particular is going to hell and I believe my God is greater then vengeance. God is coming for all his children, which I would guess includes the ones that don't see it. However regardless of if you disagree or not, your argument is invalid on the bases of freedom of speech even without all the religion crap.

I personally think though I have no scripture to back me up is that you have to reject God after its been revealed to you in order to go to hell and I believe everyone is giving a clear choice. Even if you reject God your whole life and die, I believe your still have the opportunity accept Christ as God. My God doesn't tear down and destroy, he rebuilds and restores. I refuse to be believe that he sends anyone to hell except those who reject him in anger and have hatred in their hearts because they can't be all powerful and in control.

You'll never be all powerful or in control.

He was awesome as Jed Clampet.
Redneck is used in the South to describe working poor whites. Some are narrow minded, some aren't.Some smoke the heck out of weed and are very liberal.Hick is a term used to describe uneducated rural people.

He was a damn sight better than the original Jed Clampett, who was himself a right wing nutbar. When his co star who played the banker's spinster secretary was running for office as a liberal Democrat, and asked him for his support, he not only refused, but threw his support behind the opposition!

I have some in-laws that are very devout Christians. They are fine people and I totally respect them becuse they don't preach at me.Faith has gotten then thru some tough times. They walk the walk, don't judge and go out of the way to help people.
People have a right to free speech, but when they get up in my face and started preaching fire and brimstone I have the right to tell them to shut up.
If there is a God,and he truly loves all his children, then nobody would go to hell.

Has anybody ever heard the word "Hoosier" as a derogatory term for a "backwards" person?

No, I thought that was just what people from some Midwestern state called themselves. But cracker definitely is something you call a purposely ignorant person.
