How is Cruz a better candidate than Trump for other than fake superficial reasons? How is Hillary a better candidate? I defend Trump nobody defends them.

Border patrol union -- representing 16,500 agents -- endorses Trump.

I don't think Cruz I a better candidates. But I will defend Hillary. She has a tremendous record when you filter out the scandal hunting Republicans. They claim she committed numerous crimes but can provide no real evidence to support it. She was question by congress about Benghazi for 11 1/2 hours and the Republicans couldn't find any evidence of wrong doing. The only sources that claim she has done something wrong with her email are on the far right and have nothing more than speculation. Hillary has experience in international diplomacy and has built a lot of respect around the world.

She also has a much clearer and detailed domestic policy that in my mind is exactly the direction our country needs to be in.

It will be a sad day for Jacoby if Trump picks Cotton as his VP.

a few hours ago, trump made a major gaffe when he said that women who receive abortions should be "punished somehow."

He will whine and shrug it off like just about any other stupid rude remark he makes. People will forget about it and move on I bet. It's unfortunate he gets away with saying so much crap and people STILL support him.

I think this goof will stick with him. he already has 70% unfavorable ratings among American women in general. if he does make it to the general election, they will hang that statement around his neck like an albatross.

I support Trump in making abortions illegal except where the mother's life is in jeopardy.

He said:"if the procedure is banned", then women (lawbreakers) should be subject to some form of punishment".

And that's why I said in another thread that there should be consequences for breaking the law if abortion was illegal.

My thing is the Supreme Court will probably never reverse it, but if the States were put in control of it then maybe abortion could be illegal depending on the State. Interesting.

that sentiment no doubt is behind his 70% unfavorable rate among American women in general. it is not gonna help him at the ballot box. if he were smarter/less overconfident, he would have kept mum about it for now.

It's relative.

So, exactly how do we punish women who opt to commit 'murder' by having an abortion?

Oh she said in another thread that we should do what they did before Roe V. Wade. So in other words prison for up to 5 years.
