The poll does not allow me to answer "No more than anything else that encourages people to believe that their success in life (and/or after-life) depends upon believing, without question or reason, what members of a theocratic hierarchy tell them to believe."

Or, to shorten it, "No more than, say, Christianity."

Absent such an answer, I think the poll is fundamentally flawed.

No, Islam can be intererated in any way anyone sees fit, and as such it is not a threat. People are a threat, especially people who think there stupid delusions (how I see religion :lol:) are enough to justify murder.

Islam is just as much a threat as other religions: It becomes dangerous when you make special allowances for it, as the case is with religion in general.

He probably means it's dangerous when the state, or society, writes off morally unsound behaviour as "part of the religion".
