Do most aspies like offending people with religious talk?

When I talk about politics, I do tend to offend some people, but I feel that is because I tend to be very blunt and sometimes brutally honest. i.e I do not feel we should be helping the middle east anymore because we have spent thousands of lives trying to free these people and as soon as we leave, they get taken back over by terrorists. Even when we give them our most efficient and up-to-date weapons and training, they still prove incompetent. What we are doing now is extremely similar to what we did in Vietnam, and we all know how that turned out. I also feel instead of the death penalty for murderers, we should use life imprisonment because it causes insanity and a slow breakdown of their humanity. We have no evidence that Hell exists, but with life imprisonment we can make their time a living one, just as it is for the family of the murdered. When one is sentenced to life in prison, he has nothing to live for anymore, but we are making him live anyways, to feel the pain and emptiness of those close to the one he murdered. I feel this is a more satisfying punishment than the death penalty, which I feel is the easy way out, just as suicide bombers are cowards.

For some reason I read religion as politics. Oops. Anyways, I am an Atheist, so sometimes I end up offending religious people for some reason.

It's not likely Jesus said that. This quote was attributed to him by his followers after his death once they realized the physical kingdom of God wasn't coming anytime soon. They spiritualized it in the same way Ellen G. White spiritualized the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Well..i guess that is possible..but it is a recurring element in religions all across the world..an essence and truth that rings true for countless individuals and groups throughout the ages...

Nothing Jesus said was new...

The truth and essences are always the same...

Only the language...groups..and individuals change...

l most definitely experience the bliss and or nirvana in now almost every moment of every day...

it took me over 5 decades and countless challenges at adversities..to get tHERE...

But the evidence of whoever said the kingdom of heaven is now..is simply my life..and so many others..scattered here and there...

and almost every animal..but man..experiencing it common..as NOW

But as i have stated many times on this site..and so many others have reported throughout the years...

if ya don't actually experience this bliss...

it simply does not exist...

and oh boy it ain't free ..as brain washed individuals subject to the illusion of complex languages..collective intelligence and cultures...

can only move through it only IF THEY FIND A WAY..OR PATH..

THAT'S THE HARD PART...

A PATH THAT TRULY WORKS FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL..THAT WILL ALWAYS VARY FOR FOLKS THAT PERCEIVE AND EXPERIENCE THE WORLD DIFFERENTLY....

yes i love doing it also when you think about it Buddhism basically is just trying to be like us

(1) to lead a moral life,
(2) to be mindful and aware of thoughts and actions, and
(3) to develop wisdom and understanding

In the late 1890's the chain link or chain topic system of bible teaching/preaching was developed and picked of by and used by the new pentecostal religion. Every church I have went to with only one exception uses this method. I did not know what to call it so I called it the cut and splice bible study. You can say almost anything you want with this method, it has a lot of flexibility which I suppose why it seems to be universally used often with much success.

I found that Aquariuses like to do this. In fact, I am really good at spotting them online now. Whenever someone is saying things to deliberately provoke I ask them if they are Aquarius and they say they are and I am a good guesser but really it's just I notice a pattern in the Aquas. They always try to offend certain others by what they say. They feel like they are doing the world a service this way. So Aspies, no. Aquas, yes.
