It's rather convenient to place people in groups and place labels on them. You assume to know me yet know nothing. It's easier to believe what you want to believe rather than question your beliefs and believe something that's not aligned with your core beliefs.

It's also explicitly against the rules of PPR to make blanket statements against people with certain political views; "leftists lie and cheat" is a textbook example (although of course it is true by definition that any sufficiently large group will contain people who lie or cheat).
