No, and you know why it isn't.

Because apparently its more important to protect peoples feelings and obscure the clarity of language than to be honest and prioritize clear communication?

By the way, did you know that I'm a "Debate input provider for an interactive computer platform"?

I wouldn't be obscuring communication by calling you a douchebag, I would just be calling you a derogatory term.

You're not being overly PC if you don't call black people n****rs, you know.

You'd also be somewhat inaccurate since a doucebag is an implement that women use to clean their privates, whereas I tend make them dirtier.

You can do what you want to women's privates as long as they consent, my point stands. Not using derogatory language isn't being obscure.

Secretaries now want to be called "administrative assistants", because it makes them feel important.

Perhaps instead of "prostitutes" we could call them "ejaculation specialists."

No no, Executive Ejaculation Engineers.

Which of these would someone shout in order to be offensive:

"You're a prostitute!" or

"You're a whore!"

I think the second one.

Well, that seems to be an enhanced job title. Someone might not even realize that they were whores.

Suppose we added the "pretty, hot" part.

"You're a pretty, hot prostitute!" or

"You're a pretty, hot whore!"

Versus "You're a pretty, hot Executive Ejaculation Engineer"

I don't know. I suppose that if she were insulted, then she could decline the job.

I think the remark itself says more about the person using it than her reaction does.

EDIT: actually scratch that, the remark itself says more about society.

Funny I've been thinking about this lately.

Yes I feel it should be legalized. within certain limits. Maybe as long as it's conducted behind closed doors (i.e. no street walkers). I really don't understand why sexual activity between consenting adults could be illegal.

I mean, porn is legal, that's two adults being paid to have sex. So why shouldn't prostitution be legal?

I feel obligated to add that I'm not necessarily pro-prostitution but I just don't understand why it's criminalized.

I don't know. It is just a word that some people don't like, and that is sometimes used in a derogatory context, even to describe non-prostitutes.

But, okay. "Executive Ejaculation Administrator" it is, then.

At least you acknowledge that it can be derogatory.

Can be, but isn't necessarily.

If you call a person a turd, then, of course, that is an insult. But, if you're talking about an actual turd, it isn't.

There are no sentient turds.

I see no problem with allowing people to be prostitutes. The only undesirable things I see with prostitution are: child sex trafficking, trafficking people against their will, and pimps who mistreat their prostitutes/take all the money made through services rendered. Legalizing or outlawing it will do nothing to remedy these issues, so why bother not allowing people to engage in prostitution if it is what they desire?
