Ruveyn thinks that the Tea Party movement is a working class movement and if we get rid of government regulation then there will be more jobs because we will be able to compete with China.

The problem with that type of thinking is that we will never be able to compete with China simply by getting rid of OSHA safety regulations simply due to the fact that a Chinese worker will always be willing to work for a cheaper wage than what an American worker will accept.

The only way that an American worker can compete is simply to build a product that is so high tech that China will not be able to produce the product. Take for instance the supersonic passenger jet airplane . If all passenger jet aircraft were required to have supersonic capability I could guarantee that this would save a lot of American jobs. But if we continue to build subsonic passenger jet aircraft then this could easily be outsourced to China.

No. It originated as a libertarian movement and was soon hijacked by the Republic right wing. The Proles are thoroughly infected with collectivism.

Bloody right. In my heart I know the Proles are revolting. I always thought of the Union Activists as a bunch of knuckle draggers.

But there are a lot of angry workers who call themselves Conservatives and they go around driving their gas guzzling pickup trucks while they listen to Rush Limbaugh as well as the occasional Libertarian radio shock jock and they go around complaining that they pay to much income taxes because they work too much overtime.

When you would be Antisemitic, but you figure you need the Jews and Israel in order to usher in the rapture, and Christ's thousand year rule.

The right wing loves Communist China because they are a cheap source of labor.

If you hear the name Martin Luther King and the firs thing that comes to mind is Stanley Leviston, a devout communist lawyer he associated with who really DID regularly launder King money from the KGB.

The origins of the Tea Party movement were libertarian. The point was to constrain government to act within the limits of the Constitution and good sense. It was high-jacked by the right wing Republicans as soon as it showed signs of catching on.

it was hijacked by the John Birch Society because they had already worn out their welcome in the Republican party by that name.
They also gathered up the charismatic Xians that had been disenfranchised by 43's administration.

You lament the decline of family values before driving down to Nevada to visit a brothel.
