My point is, in eating food you don't like, you are "an eater of that food". If you don't like construction work, but you start building a highway because that's the only work available, you ARE a construction worker. You see, I'm not talking about "internally gay" or whatever the hell that means. I'm talking about functionally straight. Sex is mainly an external application, not an internal identity. That's why I CHOOSE to be straight. Because of my CHOICE, I AM 100% straight. Get it through your head. A person who intentionally kills someone IS A MURDERER.

No, YOU get it through YOUR head: murder is an action. Sexuality isn't. Sexuality is about who you're attracted to, whether you act on it or not. Are all virgins asexual? I'm not having sex right now, do I not have a sexuality? Jesus, it's not hard to understand LOL

I'm thinking that it varies between the two for different people.

Of course, more studies need to be done into the matter. Either way, it's not a choice.

It's not a fetish at all and is not a paraphilia either, it was removed from DSM a while ago.

I'm not saying I don't ever want to have sex with anyone, I'm saying there are more important things than sex in a relationship, for me.

Well, I wouldn't want everyone to be like me either. I wouldn't everyone to be like ANY one person -- that would be frightening. And don't try to one-up me -- I think there are more important things than sex too, on higher plains, but on the physical plain, romantic relationships are focused -- either loosely or tightly -- around the prospect of sex.

Do you want a romantic relationship? Or just an emotionally intimate one? I would define the first as dating, and the second as friendship.
