Then for one million dollars (U.S. currency paid in full only), I will vote for the candidate of your choosing. Failing that, I will vote for whoever I damned well please.

Fair enough?

No. My advice, vote for whom you believe will best fulfill the Constitution and Bill of Rights without alteration of either document.

Your vote is priceless, you shouldn't put a temporal value on it.

All the candidates will sell us out. We should eliminate the presidency.

And replace it with what? Congress? An assembly of whores.

Or perhaps you would rather be ruled by judges who are appointed for life and accountable to few.

Take this for what it is worth....and not a slam on any particular religion or its practices.

From what I know of MORMONISM, there is this belief that status in the hereafter is predicated on success here on earth. To some degree it appears to be a big reason why Mormons (particularly men) are driven to be men into fields that make a lot of money. I'm not sure if this is rooted in any formal teaching of the Book of Mormon or if it's a schism/created doctrine of the faith.

So, unlike some people who are into big business and running for office, Romney's association makes some kind of sense based on what I know about his religious background and beliefs.

I'm waiting for some anonymous black guy to ask Romney where he thinks black people came from. Obama could ask him that, but I think that would be too much of a low blow.

I'm guessing his face would look like this

Not Herman, although the coincidence is funny...

Might not need to worry so much about Mitt.
Newt is doing pretty good at the moment.

He just got a 5 million dollar donation from Sheldon Adelson, the biggest campaign contribution ever. Too bad Romney thinks American Indians are Israelites, or else that check might have been for him.

I wonder what the percentage of people that vote give this reason why they voted for their candidate?

@Shrox. Speaking of Gingrich do you think he is a bigger threat to your cause than Romney?

In the interview linked below, Gingrich calls medicinal Marijuana in California a Joke.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/newt-gingrich-drug-laws-entitlements-campaigning-yahoo-news-152936251.html

Amazing, how quickly things have changed in this Republican primary race, time and time again; at the start of this thread, it didn't appear that Gingrich had a chance in South Carolina.
