Since this has been resurrected, I'd like to ask, "What are women for?"
Men don't need women to make money.
So that leaves wanting a baby.
I don't want a baby, but I wonder if all men want offspring. If a man didn't want offspring and had money then what does that leave? If sex is available (via robots or whatever) then is there a need for women?

For either gender, you shouldn't bee with someone because you *need* them, you should be with them because you *want* to be with them.

Well, indeed, there is not. And it looks like there's a increasing tendency for men to dismiss relationships right now. There's a book about it

I wonder how that Dilbert comic would work in reverse?

"I'm not sure what function women serve in the modern world. My job doesn't pay enough to support a wife, anyway. I'm not fussy about how clean and tidy my house is. If I want to pass on my genetic material, then I can make a deposit at a sperm bank. If I just want to ejaculate, then there is plenty of pornography available--I don't have to guess whether some woman's hormones are in proper alignment. In today's world, women are little more than carriers of...."

I can't think of a substitute for "bad jokes and flatulence" that wouldn't result in an automatic conviction and punishment for sexism.

^If the guy above is comfortable with that, then fine. There's nothing wrong with living alone, if that's preferable to you over living with another person because other people have their own wants and desires. However, what doesn't work is a woman or man who *wants* someone of the opposite sex (or the same sex, for that matter), but isn't willing to treat that person as an actual person rather than a conglomeration of stereotypes which is supposed to serve them.

I have a lot more respect for MGTOWs than for MRAs; the former might still be selfish and deluded, but at least they aren't trying to make women into something that they're not and at least they're not inflicting themselves on women.

Wow. You really impress me with your extensive knowledge of hipster acronyms.

Having looked up the acronym, but not having bothered to research the topic: why would a man goes his own way be "selfish and deluded?"

What more could a woman possibly want from a man?

Men are not necessary except to donate sperm for reproduction.

Women are not necessary except for their eggs and the ability to be pregnant.

That's how you feel? That you are not necessary for this world?

What you say is literally true, but if you feel like that then none of us are necessary.

Suicidal much?

Neither gender is "necessary" except for the continuation of the species. That doesn't mean that they shouldn't be around but other than that I see no role that can only be solely held by one or the other.
