Besides, you posted in PPR, not RD.

If you post it here it's open season.

not open season. just trying to help....not necessarily even see my view....but if you stand for something...you should be knowledgable on it...even if it's the propaganda you want to believe.

You don't post on a politics forum without expecting flak. It's like punching Mr.T and expecting to die.

he might die...depends on where you punch him and how hard.

Mr.T always wins. ALWAYS

except against cancer. (NOW i'm just being an ass :P )

ack! I picked the wrong one. I'm pro-choice, to a point.

After three months, you've had time to get rid of it, now you're stuck with it. No use aborting something that stands a good chance of already having brain activity, because if it does, then you would be murdering it. A sentient being - human with a working brain.

Seriously though, after it has the ability to feel pain, you're stuck with it.
I MAY be willing to make an exception for live vs life cases but I doubt it.

More people should be aborted.

I'm just not seeing the pro-death option here.

I'm proudly pro-choice and if I got pregnant today, I'd be at the abortion clinic tomorrow. I having been using two forms of contraception since the day I lost my virginity and I haven't gotten pregnant yet, but if I ever did, you better believe I would terminate the pregnancy. I have never wanted children, I still don't want children, and it's none of anyone's business why except for me and my significant other. End of story.

That's fair enough. But all I want to know is hypothetically, if someone got pregant as a result of unprotected love-making, would you agree with it?

though it's not posed to me......i would agree with it. you don't argue about someone's sh***y diet, you put them on cholesteral medication first and worry about lecturing them later. not entirely the same thing but the point being...it doesn't matter why. the why only matters to people who've been brainwashed to grey their morals so that they can be outraged at one but not at another.

Unless they're a school child, in which case you go on and on about healthy eating 'till they're even LESS receptive than the idea than they were to begin with and offer ONLY healthy school dinners.

Pro-choice. Women are vicious and scary creatures who have big, gnarled teeth and glowing, yellow eyes. Besides, I hate moral bean counters. They're all prigs.

I can't be bothered to read all 10 pages of this thread. Has anyone mentioned the theory about how that the legalization of abortion made the crime rates plummet in the U.S.? The idea is that all those kids who would have been born to unfit parents would have grown up to become nasty little criminals. It makes quite a lot of sense, as outlined in the book Freakonomics by Steven Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner. However, I haven't looked into the theory in great detail.

Esperanza, by that logic, decriminaling all drugs would also trigger a sharp decline in crime rate. So...for or against that?

Please explain to us the reasoning behind this statement. It doesn't appear to make sense.

Legalising things makes crime rate drop, yes? So in that case, decriminalising drugs can be expected to trigger a similiar decrease in crime rates. Are you for or against legalising drugs?
