If you think you weren't in the wrong, then defend yourself. You know you don't have to take anything anyone says seriously?

But in the larger scheme of things, language can and should be used as a weapon. Conservatives do it all the time, now they are getting a taste of it themselves.

Are people who get offended by everything really that common?

If that makes me a target for the nasty personalised namecalling that is so common on this forum, so be it. There seems to be a direct link between those who call others names and those who hate political correctness, as if one justifies the other. It doesn't.

You have been fooled by the entire strategy of the radical Left, and they already have you wrapped around their fingers. There isn't and can't be such a list on purpose, because "social justice" has nothing to do with either society or justice. It is about power -- the power to control your behavior at will. If you know the rules and follow them, then maybe you can be independent. But if we keep the rules hidden from you, or change them randomly, then we can keep you always on the defensive, always down, and then we can control you. "Social justice" is Marxist totalitarianism touched up with lipstick and squirted with perfume so you can smell the mass-murdering ideology underneath.

And it's easy to do, because on average, human beings (even a lot of aspies) just go along with the crowd. If the crowd is doing something, then it must be ok. And whipping up a crowd is a pretty easy thing to do if you have decent persuasive skills. I could begin right here (if I wanted to) as follows: Your racist username is something that really should not be permitted on WP. Don't you think you should apologize for that kind of coded slur against Italian Americans? If you post an apology I won't report you to the moderators, but you can be sure we'll be monitoring your posts to make sure you don't harass any more users with your racist ideology.

(See how easy that is? And I guarantee if some energetic person started promoting that kind of line, pretty soon an assortment of crowd-followers would start promoting it too -- in Marxist lingo they are called "useful idiots" who will do whatever the Party tells them to do.)

I had an experience today in line at the grocery store. The oriental girl behind's dumplings fell over the belt divider and mixed with my groceries. The clerk asked if they were mine and I said no and indicated they were the girl's. She said she should have known that. At first I thought she meant because it was Asian food and the girl was Asian. But the clerk didn't mean that. She then said, makes sense that all the dumplings belong to the same order.
Anyway I thought this is a good example of something that could be interpreted as racist, but isn't.

Im not trivializing their concerns. I'm trivializing the need to spread the practice of avoiding noninsulting and nonoffensive ordinary stuff. Im not talking about insulting them. I'm talking about something reminding them.of something upsetting. I'm talking about offense by association. Im talking about how Kanye isn't a blackface character and btw pore mask isn't blackface or meant to be. I'm.talking about people trying to spread awareness that we should use jazz hands instead of clapping or all the rest of that I'm too tired to type. I'm talking about nurturing weakness and thin skin rather than encouraging strength and learning to ignore something you know us small.

And I'm.wondering why people want to get the nation to change lots of things rather than teach a few to be able to deal with it, and I want to stop encouraging this emo stuff in college kids.

I'm.not talking about purposeful offense or even real accidental offense. In some.colleges you can't ask people of another ethnicitybwhere they are from. That's a normal small talk question.

Why not teach people that most things aren't meant to offend and if it does offend them personally yo speak up.


And for got sakes teach these kids that there are emotions between great and devastated and to not make the default negative emotion devastation. And yes I think a lot of its in their heads because they are emotionally invested in the movement. Not the jazz hands s**t it pushes.
