I never voted for homophobic Christian conservatives though.

WTH does that mean?

No, fighting against the natural outcome of votes is babyish. Trying to get the votes in the first place is your right.

Yes, and that's what they're trying to do, by changing the views of society.

There are far better things to be changing the views of society on these days...

Definitely! I don't think the world is a few gay tweaks away from perfection.
Save us, Elton!

No, but allowing gay couples to get married is a pretty easy thing to do. Jesus, it's not hard. It didn't exactly cause the UK to fall on its feet when we did it...

Of course. But intolerance and bullying are two important things. As are civil rights.

Not calling Christians stupid for believing the Bible might be a good place to start.

Then you were never gay to begin with.

By the way, that's what the Bible says about "Christians" who stop believing -- that they were never Christians to begin with. I didn't know being gay was a religion.

No real response as usual... 8)

You take it as seriously as a religion.

No I don't. I take it seriously because it affects a lot of people, including myself, and will affect the rest of my life.

Sad, well, I hope it won't be the rest of your life, probably not too long away, finally things will be better and at last gay people will have the same rights, there should be a complete separation between religion and state first, right?

I can call you stupid for your beliefs. You can call me stupid for my beliefs. It's a bit different to kicking out you kids because they're gay, or bullying someone for 7 years in school.

Maybe I should of said groups. Now do you get which direction I am looking at?

No. What about groups?

I would be far more concerned about the state of Aspie rights, as opposed to gay rights, for instance.

One of the things I feel most strongly about is disestablishment of the Church of England and reformation of the House of Lords.

Emotionally, religiously, and mentally you were Christian, but not spiritually. Did you have a personal relationship with God, where there was definitely communication going on? A spiritual conversion to Christ is a permanent attainment of spiritual knowledge of Him. Therefore, the closest someone could come to ceasing being a Christian would be to knowingly rebel against God. The person can't know God exists, and then become sure He doesn't.

Marriage is probably the least of my worries, and asides if any kids were had within that marriage there is a decent chance the social people will nab them. There are other more basic things that most of us dont have fair access to,

So, the women you like -- there could never be a man like them? In what ways, specifically? Is it a vagina thing or what?

I've never been physically attracted to a men and I'm 99% sure I never will be. I can't be 100% on anything. You never know, I could even become a Christian one day, I'm 99.9 recurring % sure I never will though. Same for liking men, I'm going from experience.

(I'm 100% sure you'll never be a Christian.)

But what about a woman can no man present you with?

How can you be 100% sure of anything?
I used to be '100% sure' I'd never admit I wasn't straight.
And why are you so obsessed with MY sexuality? Why do you keep on asking about ME specifically? I've only ever been attracted to women (just like a lot of other people in the world).

Mainly because you're just about the most prolific poster on WP, and secondly because you're willing to discuss issues of sexuality. I find you very puzzling.

Such as?
And if I was with a woman who had kids from another marriage and she died, I wouldn't necessarily have custody of them, if we weren't married. Even if we'd been together 15 years and they'd never seen their biological father.

The bullying only tends to happen if someone at school is dim enough to announce that they are gay. Being an aspie on the other hand, thats a way of getting bullied that is very difficult to avoid or get out of.

Not true. A lot of people guess if someone's gay, or one of their friends tells people.
