The problem of SJWs
The issue I see with SJWs are, many of them have closed views and will call anyone a troll who disagrees with them or call them Nazis or bigots and block them.
They will also bully and harass people who are different than them for example, this one fat person decided to lose weight for her own health benefit because her weight was affecting her body. But she got harassed by all these fat SJWs for losing weight because they called it fatphobic. So they didn't even care about her health and how her weight was affecting her before she lost it. Lack of empathy they have.
They also go around stalking profiles and telling others to put this person on their block list or even share their block list to tell others to block them and lot of times it's just people they do not agree with.
They also play the victim and refuse to take any responsibility. They find oppression everywhere and racism and bigotry discrimination, etc. that isn't even there.
They are delusional and unrealistic views on the world.
Lot of them seem to have low IQs so they act very trollish.
Many of them are activists and I have grown to start dislike activism because of s**t like this they do. I don't even have sympathy for them when they get trolled or harassed because they are so delusional and no one likes delusional people and SJWs will try and brain wash people and they make stuff up and try and push it on others. They will also twist facts and twist things they hear to be right.
Now when people mention wanting a safe space, what they actually mean is "I don't want to hear any opinions I don't like because they don't agree with mine." Safe space does not mean anymore what it was supposed to mean.
Activism has really gotten a bad name now IMO. And I decided I wouldn't want to associate with these people anyway and if someone has a whole town on their block list, the issue might be them, not the people they have blocked. If you seriously think you can have a world where everyone agrees with you and goes your way, you have a problem. I wonder how these people function in the real world but at least they have no idea what people are thinking or know what their thoughts are. Thank god no one can see our thoughts nor can they look at us and know what we think on things.
Also the problem is because these people think they are so right and are stuck on their views, you cannot actually have a conversation with them without them twisting your words and they never get to hear another perspective or learn anything new. I even think if you ask them a question, they can just take it the wrong way and attack you.

"SJWs" don't have good intentions. Their leaders are calculating and cynical exploiters of movements that were once among the most noble in history (the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s, the abolitionists of the 19th century, those who campaigned peacefully for women's suffrage - not the so-called "suffragettes", who condemned themselves by embracing terrorism, and so on). They do this for the sake of their aggrandisement, to sell books, to get media attention. The classic example of this type of "SJW" is Jesse Jackson, who lied about having rushed to the aid of the genuinely noble Martin Luther King at the time of King's assassination in order to usurp King's status as spokesman for the Civil Rights movement.
Their followers, on the other hand, are at best gullible, angst ridden teenagers looking for a cause to fill their sense of emotional emptiness while not having the intellectual self-confidence to discover for themselves causes which genuinely deserve their attention. At worst their followers are narcissistic, antisocial vandals whose repressed sadism and oral rage lead then to seek to destroy civilisation itself, while claiming the virtue of a King or Gandhi.

The people in the 50s-60s civil rights movement get the hell beat out of them and sometimes died for the cause of integration. SJW's are segregationists who are undoing their work. Martin Luther King famously said: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character". SJW's judge people wholly by their race, sex, sexual identity sexual orientation etc. 60's student radicals got tear gassed and billy clubbed fighting for greater freedom of expression and allowing a wider variety of opinion into the mainstream. They had considerable success with this. The SJW phenomenon has pretty much completely undone their work and put us in a place worse than when the 60s Free Speech movement started. Feminists fought for females to celebrate and own their sexuality, SJW's are putting policies in place that send a message that women are helpless creatures in need of constant protection and ego messaging.

I suggest you re-read my post; I'm in complete agreement with everything you said.

There used to be a person online I followed. She always blogged about her mental illness, her kink lifestyle, over coming her past abuse, he recovery in therapy, and then she deleted all her blogs and went private and decided to be a therapist. She kept her life on Twitter so I decided to follow her there and her friend they both have a kink lifestyle together while they both live their separate lives. She has talked about her weight loss and was so happy to be wearing a UK size 10 dress again and showed it off and she would also post photos of her healthy meals and drinks and blog about working out and even posted a video of herself doing yoga. But then she started to go on about diets not working, and bragging about blocking diet pages. Okay, not everyone needs to diet and I never really had a diet to lose weight. But then she was starting to post fatlogic stuff, and falling for the same things fat activists sprout out and one day she accused me of fat shaming when I posted medical facts and how it affects people who have excessive body fat. It turned into an argument because she was accusing me and then twisting my words and I was ignoring the parts I was not even saying and just let her say whatever she wants because I am not going to argue with her about things I never said and only she said. Then she blocked me. I have lost respect for her and I would never want to see a therapist who believes in this fat activist stuff and ignores science because it makes me question their intelligence and their ability to see reality.
If I was seeing a therapist and I found out they believed in this stuff and they always block people who don't agree with them on this, I would fire them. I want an intelligent therapist, not a crazy one or a dumb one.
And this lady was 27 years old, not some naive gullible teen. I can't stop thinking what is going to happen if her son becomes smarter and sees reality and doesn't agree with his mother on this?
Catloading is someone I follow, she was formally in the fat acceptance community and she got brainwashed by them and put on lot of weight. She was a minor then. Then she realized how toxic they were and how many things they say are lies so she left their community and lost weight and now speaks against it on youtube and yes she has gotten harassed by these so called fat activists and would report her and get her videos removed or shut her page down but she just keeps coming back.
Hopefully this other lady will get knocked into some sense and realize how BS this all is or maybe she will get a patient who is so overweight it limits their day to day activities many of us take for granted and she will hear how hard they are breathing just for walking normal steps. Then she will see how healthy that is. Will she tell that patient to just love themselves when they are having trouble breathing or can't walk up or down a flight of stairs or having troubles sitting and getting up or are always aching and to accept all this and this is who hey are, and it's society that is the problem, not their size. This is toxic to do to someone. This is what they basically do to other fat people and if they dare to want to lose weight and make a change, oh no they are fatphobic and fatshaming. This is something Catloading has also covered in some of her videos.

I just don't understand that bizarre extent of narcissism in the West (and increasing elsewhere), and the inability of anybody under the age of thirty to concern themself with anything other than themself.
"Fat-shaming, bisexual, transexual, cissexual, bicurious, SJW, liberal" - the whole vocabulary of the millennial generation seems unable to concern itself with anything more concrete or useful than matters of self-obsessed identity politics. The whole millennial generation seems incapable of doing anything other than talk about itself to other people who are only interested in talking about themself - to people who could care less anyway.
This is the reason why we have such rampant levels of depression, anxiety and other such illnesses; the sebse of emptiness and inadequacy that come from fixation on the self and lack of concern for anyone or anything other than oneself.
I recommend that everyone reading this read a book by a man called Christopher Lasch: The Culture of Narcissism: American Life in an Age of Diminishing Expectations. I believe that it's out of copyright and available as a free pdf online. The book was written in 1979 but is an almost eerily prescient account of the consequences of a society obsessed with the self.

I think you make some good points, L_G.
I spent time in University in the late 1980s. It was a time just prior to the explosion of political correctness. It was a time when debate of opposing viewpoints, even viewpoints that were controversial or even repugnant was encouraged. One of my philosophy courses involved round table discussions on questions and topics the professor would throw out there. The university was in the Midwest and believe me, the students in that class ranged from hard core religious conservative to athiest and everything in between. All viewpoints were respected civilly and given equal opportunity to be shared and no one was shouted down, etc. It was awesome.
The unfortunate thing I see today with those on the left or certainly on the far left is the incomplete viewpoint of: "I am an open minded tolerant person." Where, if completed should really be: "I'm an open minded tolerant person...provided you think the same way I do." I deal with all kinds of people in my work. I'm almost a half a century on the planet and therefore have had a good amount of experience observing other people. I truly believe the following statement is an objective one: Some of the most closed minded people I know or I've ever met have not been hard core conservative or conservative. They've been liberal. Why is that? In part, I think it's sanctimony.
The liberal of yesterday who denounced the sanctimonious viewpoint and influence of the "religious right" (the Jerry Falwell, Oral Roberts types (both dead) is today more than willing to force his/her/hir/yos/zir/ver/cos/ens/eir sanctimonious viewpoint on others. The reason? Their viewpoint is morally correct whereas any viewpoint counter is oppressive, immoral and evil (sounds familiar from times past, yes?).
Man, there ain't such thing "social justice".
If "justice" is open to interpretation then I could say only my opinion is justified therefore it leads to ideology politics... which are absolute crap. This issue has already been discussed a million times and probably here as well.
SJWs need to protest for something or someone they believe is "poor" or "mistreated" because they never experienced any hardships or difficulties growing up (almost always people from higher socioeconomic backgrounds, which is why quite a few university professors are stupid enough to support them on campuses although seemingly (!) having higher IQ and knowledge of the facts of the matter in question - than a school dropout might have). So, in order to atone for their sense of "hey, I'm not entitled, because as I'm also helping someone who needs help" they do what they do.
I and many minorities would take the term remotely seriously if the right literally didn’t place it on every minority fighting for equal rights.
“You’re homophobic in saying me loving a man is like beastiality or loving a dog and that being your reason why we shouldn’t be able to get married.”
“I’m not homophobic! You’re just an SJW!”
If the right didn’t over use it - it would have a definition but that isn’t the case.
Similarly with identity politics, the left has identity politics while the right has the southern strategy.
For example it’s amusingly obvious the same who rant about identity politics by screaming about Democrats using “identity politics” for being pro women’s choice - never scream about Republicans using “identity politics” by focusing on abortion to attract extremist Christians. Similarly being pro trans bathroom right is “identity politics” (trans people) yet being anti somehow isn’t (extremist Christians)? Both are playing the same game. So if you want to use it and not come off like an extremist whackjob (sorry, I’m not politically correct (sarcasm, I’m not sorry)) use it in a bipartisan manner.
"We" as in the US of A have juries. Some countries don't trust random people to impact a verdict and leave only qualified judges to do so. Also, other countries simply have a dictator that arbitrates who is innocent and who's guilty and how he should be punished (.. and perhaps be executed).
The point isn't that justice is not open to interpretation. It's people using it to say only their opinion holds because that's how THEY interpret it thus you don't count because whatever you say isn't justified. Got it?
I do so enjoy the pearl-clutching when it comes to SJWs. I liken it to the 60s and people babbling that the hippies were going to bring about the end of society.
The fact is, now we have social media that amplifies this bullplop way past the degree it's relevant. Both sides are deeply engaged in what I term "outrage culture," each ready, willing, and able to lose their sh_t at whatever the "other" is doing.
Additionally, I'm a Millenial. I, along with many of my fellows, are getting tired of being blamed for everything wrong with society. Yes, I'm an agendered, asexual, liberal individual, but don't bother yourself trying to understand my position. Just sit back and sanctimoniously judge my life choices. That I'm an eight year military veteran, and ran as an EMT, apparently doesn't matter because I define myself in a way that you find objectionable. Screw understanding, and good-faith debating....we want to be outraged!! !

Everyone interprets things differently. If I believe I'm right in my interpretation, that makes other interpretations wrong. That's just how logic works. The judge in your case does the same thing a jury does, interprets the law, since the law can't anticipate every permutation of wrongdoing. And new situations emerge all the time that the law hasn't anticipated.
